If you can ignore these technical problems then Point Lookout is a great experience. Immersing yourself in the new location is easy and there is plenty to explore and investigate with some satisfying new content thrown in. During my time in the swamps I brewed Moonshine, decapitated more insane hillbillies than I could count and even ended up finding a horribly mutated dancing bear. If that doesn't sound even remotely appealing, then it's probably one to avoid. For everyone else grab your lever-action rifle and get shooting some inbred psychopaths.

Virtua Tennis 2009 is a hard game to recommend. It has its good share of positives and negatives but in the end, if you want to buy a tennis game, you won't look any further than the Sega title. This is a game that you would probably play for a couple hours, a week tops, before it will get way too tedious. A great game for some, but a nightmare for others.

Velvet Assassin lets you take control of British spy Violette Summer, tasked to disrupt Axis operations and assassinate high ranking officers; utilising your wits, cunning and liberal use of the shadows to take down the German forces swiftly, silently. On paper, this sounds like a very intriguing title while in theory, however, it falls short of the mark.

The main goal of every fighting game is to beat your opponent, but never before has it been done in such style as in UFC Undisputed 2009. There are a multitude of different stances and positions you can beat your opponent from and it's this diversity that makes it more than a simple brawler where you just hit your opponent in the head until he falls over.

All in all, Red Faction: Guerrilla is a highly enjoyable experience and Volition should be very proud. Personally, this is what a game should be. Hours of free-roaming fun and destruction, a wide (and I mean wide) variety of collectables to keep even the most ardent of completist's happy. Unlockable cheats and interesting multi-player options provides for a brilliant game and as many hours of gameplay as you're willing to put in. This game is a breath of fresh air in an era of games that are too short, too serious, too easy and lack any real additional content.

We have seen various business simulation games appear on the gaming menu in recent years. Some are good and others are bad, while a select few are simply downright dreadful. As far as restaurant management games go, Restaurant Empire 2 is good. Compared to the best tycoon games on the market its nothing special, but that said I wouldn't write-off this game completely.

Broken Steel feels like an expansion which should have been in Fallout 3 all along. After completing it, it seems odd to think it wasn't there to start with, which is surely the mark of a good addition. If you are new to Fallout 3 then I would strongly suggest downloading this pack to add to the experience as you play through. If you have already finished the main quest then there is enough here to draw you back to The Capital Wasteland.

Fallout 3 is a game with a lot to answer for. I have found myself spending hours developing my character, exploring the Wasteland and sending limbs gorily spiralling in every direction in grisly slow-motion. Now, just as I was starting to move on, Operation: Anchorage appears and draws me back like a moth to a flamer.

Operation: Anchorage was an enjoyable few hours of downloadable content but its linearity meant that it felt slightly out of place in the Fallout 3 universe. Thankfully, the latest pack suffers no such issues and The Pitt offers a great new area to explore as well as some new quests.

Remakes are never an easy task to accomplish. The rocky road of taking a beloved classic dear to many hearts in the world and breathing a new lease of life into it is difficult. Especially as it should offer something new whilst remaining close to the original piece of work.

You see; usually the protagonist that you get to control in the vast majority of games will have some sort of personality, some endearing qualities that you can relate with making your experience with that title more enjoyable.

The game as a whole is very good. When Atari sit down and play through the games finding out where the bugs are, and how to solve them, then the game would be a lot more desirable. It has a massive potential to become an iconic game on all the platforms, but at this rate, it could yet again become one of the hidden gems just like the original. My view, buy it but with a warning that you may experience serious frustration that is bundled with the variety of brilliant graphics and unique gameplay. Hopefully, after all is fixed, the game that has huge potential will garner all the praise it is deserving of.

The Samurai Showdown games aren't a set of games that I have ever heard of. I checked out the facts online and found out they have been going for 15 years. The Samurai Showdown Anthology brings each one together into one tidy package and here I am, discovering a set of games 15 years in the past on a new age console, the Playstation Portable.
