Dead or Alive 5 Plus is another stellar fighting option for the Vita. This little handheld is quickly becoming the king of fighting games in my book! While the visuals have taken a slight hit in the transition to mobile, the options and performance more than live up to the console original. This may be the best version of the game you can get.

Giving credit where it's due, Trion Worlds took a huge risk with this hybrid MMO and spanning it across the Xbox 360, PC, and PS3. Beautiful scenery and plentiful missions provide a backbone for the game, and there is a huge world to explore and enjoy, but lag issues cause some of the enjoyment to change to frustration. The 360 version limits interactions with other players and turns it into a glorified standard multiplayer title. If that's what you prefer, the 360 title is for you. However, MMOs should stay on the PC, and that is exactly the case with Defiance.

Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate takes the already great Monster Hunter Tri and perfects it. The graphics might be a bit dated, but the gameplay stands for itself: a massive, engrossing quest that is a lot of fun solo and an absolute blast in multiplayer. Put in the time to master the learning curve, and the hunt will richly reward you.

Guacamelee is easily one of the best titles available on the PlayStation Network. It has a great mix of action and exploration with rock-solid gameplay to back it all up. The adventure is a little on the short side, but it begs to be played again and again. Plus, things get even more enjoyable when you take a long a friend on the PS3. Definitely check this one out!

Razor's Edge attempts to fix Ninja Gaiden 3. In some ways it succeeds, offering an experience with more modes and levels. But even with all of these changes, Ryu Hayabusa's newest adventure is hard to recommend. Ninja Gaiden 3 looks good, but is derailed with uneven difficulty and gameplay that is too fast for its own good!

BioShock Infinite is such a fun game with an incredible atmosphere. The long wait has been worth it and Irrational Games has done an incredible job at bringing Booker, Elizabeth, and Columbia to life.

It’s hard not to love Phantom Breaker Battlegrounds. It’s got everything I could hope for: old school, beat’em up charm along with a heavy dose of gameplay variation and customization. I can’t get enough of the game and pray that there is more in the works for this franchise.

Need for Speed Most Wanted is an expertly tuned and turbocharged port that brings a superior experience to the Wii U. The game is just as good, even better than the other versions, the new Wii U features are fun and best of all it runs like a dream on Nintendo’s new console. The only caveats are the usual compulsory Origin account for multiplayer, and the frustrating fact that for now, EA won’t be releasing any more DLC for this version.

I really wanted this to be good but it turned out to be a total mess. Let’s Fish is comprised of a bunch of great ideas and potential that never come to fruition. Its gameplay is overly simple and the technical aspects of the game are at odds with each other. Just stay away...far, far away.

The re-imagined and return of SimCity is a disappointment that's a direct result of the included always-online system. Even worse, the gameplay suffers from multiple issues including reduced map sizes to seemingly-unintelligent Sims. Individuals looking to purchase SimCity should wait until the online restrictions have been lessened and gameplay issues fixed.

Phenomenal simulation and an amazing presentation make MLB 13: The Show one of the best sports games available on the market. Vita owners are still missing out on a couple of key features like the Diamond Dynasty mode but you still can’t deny the insane amount of game packed into this little package.
