Blocks That Matter is an intriguing action puzzler that is as cute as it is challenging. While the campaign probably won't take you more than five or six hours to get through (and a lot less than that if you know what you're doing), the bonus levels and community levels will keep you entertained as long as you wish.

Rochard is a great game to sit down with over a weekend. It took me about six and a half hours to get through, and I enjoyed the overall experience. It’s certainly not a game without its issues, but it’s still a great title, and at $10, it’s also a total steal. Rochard isn’t only a one-off experience, either. There’s reason to go back for more. Collectibles and upgrades are strewn around that are easy to miss if you aren’t paying careful attention, and then there’s that pesky Gold Trophy that will require you to beat the game in three hours or less. But save the speed-running for a second playthrough. Enjoy Rochard as it was intended, and let it bend your mind a bit. You won’t be sorry you did.

Simply put, whether or not you enjoy Innocent Sin will come down to your level of patience with random monster encounters and load times. As much of an RPG masterpiece as I believe it to be, there is no ignoring the effects its age and technical shortcomings have on the overall experience. If you're the kind of person who thinks random encounters are like nails on a chalkboard, it's hard to recommend Innocent Sin. But if random battles and dated visuals are not issues for you, it's hard to recommend it enough.

Thankfully, FIFA 12 has not innovated simply for the sake of it. The gameplay innovations greatly improve the way FIFA plays. Matches unfold with a more authentic tempo, taking it much closer to the real thing. Revolution? Evolution? Who really cares. More importantly, is FIFA 12 the best football game in the world? I don't think so. But I'd put it in my top one.

While the strange approach Criterion took with this bite-sized Burnout made me nervous, I am happy to report it is a lot of fun. Crashing cars puts a smile on your face whether you're in the driver's seat or watching from a bird's-eye view, and Autolog remains a great way to compete with friends online. Just do yourself a favor and turn off the voice acting once you've seen all the tutorials.

Ironically, the non-HD upscaling of Resident Evil 4 HD easily represents the worst part of this otherwise excellent port. But although this process didn’t do any favors for these GameCube-era graphics, the game itself remains as fun and tight as ever. With excellent controls, memorable baddies, and a cheesy story worthy of the Resident Evil branding, gamers should take it upon themselves to play this at some point if they haven’t already. For those of you who own five versions of Resident Evil 4, the $19.99 on PSN or 1600 Microsoft Points asking price doesn’t make sense when you can just as easily replay one of the other versions -- especially when you can find the Wii version for the same price or cheaper. But if you’ve never played this game with traditional controls or if you really want to have a digital copy on your PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360, you can’t really go wrong with Resident Evil 4 HD.

Supremacy MMA's good ideas get lost in a mediocre attempt at a fighting game. The core gameplay didn't satisfy me, the stories were similar and silly, and online didn't work well.

Renegade Ops reminds us a video game doesn't need much to be fun. Give us a war machine and stuff to blow up and we'll soon be enjoying ourselves. This operation looks great and provides lots of amusing, '80s action movie thrills.

Rock of Ages remains fun despite its problems, and makes for some great local competitive play. The campaign gets annoying at times because of the time constraints with defense building, but is quirky and funny enough that it ultimately remains worth the time. If you’re looking for something unlike what you’ve played before, it’s time to let Rock of Ages rock your world.

Joker 2 has its frustrations, like the level-grinding it sometimes demands and the offense that some monsters take when you try to recruit them. But that monster synthesis system is pure, addictive fun.

Most of F1 2011’s problems only come to light when you kick over one too many rocks or you prod it too hard. Examine the environments close-up or grief the collision system by harpooning your way into clumps of competitors and, yes, the illusion will be temporarily shattered. Play it properly, however, and F1 2011 is an incredibly satisfying experience. Difficult and draining, but ultimately extremely rewarding. Few, if any, other racing games can truly match its intensity.

Bleach: Soul Resurreccion is easy to learn and fun to play, despite its incomprehensible story and repetitive backgrounds. It's like Dynasty Warriors, but with a more enjoyable combat system that gives you tangible rewards for performing well. If you're up for some simple fun, Bleach: Soul Resurreccion might be worth a look. But you won't be missing the experience of a lifetime if you decide to pass on it.
