Disney Infinity nella sua seconda versione porta in dote un mondo affascinante, quello dei personaggi Marvel, e una struttura di gioco più riuscita e coesa. Resta qualche problema di ripetitività, per lo meno nel kit iniziale, e alcuni peccati originali non sono stati risolti. Al di là di alcuni difetti, però, è comunque fantastico volare nei panni di Iron Man tra i grattacieli di New York, e sviluppare le abilità dei personaggi attraverso il nuovo sistema di potenziamento aggiunge un livello di personalizzazione di cui si sentiva fortemente la mancanza. Consigliato a tutti i fan Marvel che hanno accesso a un videogiocatore più giovane con cui condividere le avventure.

Disney Infinity 2.0 has made some big strides from the original release. There is a ton to do, especially when you dig into the toy box, which should keep fans occupied for a long, long time. Things are just a little complicated for the younger gamers to do all on their own.

Disney Infinity was surprisingly robust when it released last year, but 2.0 — here debuting in the form of Marvel Super Heroes — continues to expand its universe with a number of impressive tweaks. Toy Box mode has been notably upgraded and overall gameplay is more polished, while increased depth will have players of all ages coming back for more. The physical quality of the figures have remained outstanding and focusing on Marvel should bring in a whole new group of collectors and gamers alike. It may not revolutionize, but Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes 2.0 Edition firmly establishes the property in the gaming landscape.

Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes (2.0 Edition) is an ambitious continuation of the Disney Infinity franchise. Rather than play it safe and stick with the Disney classics, they decided to branch out with their hottest new property, Marvel. The gameplay is much improved on the last game, thanks to better leveling and more in-depth combat. The Toy Box allows your creative juices to flow, which brings out the kid in you all over again. However, for a game with such creativity in many departments, the Avengers playset is pretty lacking with uninspired settings and repetitive mission types. Still, if you are a big Disney and Marvel fan you cannot go wrong with Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes (2.0 Edition), especially if you have kids.

Disney Infinity 2.0: Marvel Super Heroes riparte da quanto fatto di buono con il precedente episodio e cerca di espandere e migliorare l’esperienza generale. Il risultato è buono e riesce a divertire, ma allo stesso tempo ci ha lasciato un pizzico di amaro in bocca. Il problema di Disney Infinity è che gli interessi della software house sono concentrati troppo sulla modalità Scatola dei Giochi a discapito dei Play Set che meriterebbero una cura decisamente maggiore. Una scelta questa che non ci sentiamo di appoggiare completamente visto il pubblico molto giovane a cui è destinato il prodotto che, siamo sicuri, preferirebbe una modalità storia più corposa e curata.

Una continuación algo desequilibrada que parte ya con un error de base, sacrificar cantidad de contenidos en pos de posibilitar un cooperativo sin que tengamos que desembolsar más dinero. Más allá de este fallo de partida, nos encontramos con una aventura agradable a la que le falta algo de variedad para poder cuajar como debería. Lo mejor del programa, las posibilidades ampliadas del modo sandbox y las facilidades añadidas para crear todo tipo de nuevo entornos.

Disney Infinity 2.0: Marvel Super Heroes riparte dall'ottimo successo commerciale del primo episodio, inquadrando stavolta l'offerta sull'universo degli eroi Marvel e cercando di porre rimedio ad alcuni dei difetti del debutto. Sebbene lo sforzo sia più che concreto, non siamo del tutto convinti che la evidente volontà di indirizzare l'utenza verso la Scatola dei Giochi sfavorendo i Mondi sia la scelta vincente per la serie: l'editor, ancora troppo complesso e impegnativo, avrebbe più senso se concepito come modalità secondaria, dedicando maggiori sforzi invece alla realizzazione di avventure preconfezionate che risultano decisamente più accessibili e immediatamente divertenti. Vista la mole e lo straordinario potenziale del progetto quindi magari un anno di pausa sarebbe opportuno per il franchise, così da dare il tempo ad Avalanche Software di schiarirsi le idee e raffinare un gameplay piuttosto lacunoso. Anche perché per il prossimo capitolo le voci sembrano puntare verso Star Wars, e in tal caso l'utenza non sarà di certo per la maggior parte composta da indulgenti bambini.

Uneven and undercooked, Disney Infinity 2.0 isn’t the major upgrade I expected. It lacks the playful fun and diversity that made Infinity 1.0 so great last year. A few things are better – characters, old and new, feel more distinct and combat has been improved, and The Toy Box has made creation more inviting and less overwhelming. Disney Infinity 2.0 feels very much like a franchise that’s still finding its way, but I hope it doesn’t forget that what made it fun wasn’t the cool characters it had at its disposal but the way in which it played with them.

Inégal et insuffisamment travaillé, Disney Infinity 2.0 n’a rien de la mise à jour que j’attendais. Il lui manque le plaisir de jeu et la variété qui ont fait de la version 1.0 un des grands jeux de l’année dernière. Quelques points ont été améliorés : les personnages, anciens comme nouveaux, sont à présent plus distincts, les techniques de combat sont de meilleure qualité, et la Toy Box a rendu le mode création plus attrayant et moins fastidieux. Disney Infinity semble être une franchise qui cherche encore sa voie, mais j’espère qu’elle n’oubliera pas que ce qui la rendait amusante. Car, en effet, ce n’était pas les personnages cools dont elle disposait, mais la façon dont le jeu les utilisait qui plaisait.

En sortant juste avant les nouveaux Skylanders, Disney Infinity 2.0 compte bien s'attirer les faveurs des inconditionnels de figurines pressés de s'essayer à cette version dédiée aux super-héros Marvel. Qu'ils soient en tout cas prévenus que le contenu du soft a été volontairement morcelé pour pousser les joueurs à investir dans une multitude de packs supplémentaires s'ils souhaitent découvrir l'ensemble du contenu du soft (aventures, personnages, Toy Box Games, power discs). Si l'on regrette que les missions soient aussi peu inspirées et le gameplay aussi limité, on apprécie malgré tout les nombreuses améliorations liées à la Toy Box, l'environnement bac-à-sable de Disney Infinity.
