Vous aimez les jeux difficiles, ceux qui vous balancent une bonne droite dans les dents avant de taper votre cadavre comme Hulk avec Loki ? Parfait, Tunic est fait pour vous. La maniabilité hyper nerveuse, les déplacements très rapides, les esquives un poil trop lentes, les ennemis aux attaques bien lisibles et qui font mal, très mal, quand ils vous touchent... Tous les ingrédients sont là pour vous inciter à taper juste un coup de plus, juste un coup de trop. Celui qui vous fait repartir tout nu et les fesses bien rouges au dernier point de sauvegarde.

I think Tunic might be one of the standout titles of the year so far. We all expected Elden Ring, Gran Turismo 7, and Horizon Forbidden West to be good. Tunic, on the other hand has provided one of the most enjoyable experiences I’ve had without expecting it. Coming from one person makes it even more special. Some titles have hundreds of people working on them and often fail to succeed. Many are going to love the Death’s Door similarities, but Tunic is one of a kind. From the satisfying combat to the joy in exploring the ruins, forests, and dungeons, it is one hell of a title.

Tunic is an absolutely delightful game to slink away to for a few hours to explore, discover, and conquer. Solving puzzles and uncovering the myriad of hidden secrets can make for a calming adventure, but there's always the potential for an exhilarating moment of victory after a particularly difficult boss. That said, the inclusion of accessibility settings similar to what we saw in Celeste means that Tunic can reach a wider audience of players, without alienating those who may find the repetition of continued failure at a difficult battle to be daunting or otherwise problematic. In a game that clearly draws inspiration from the likes of Bloodborne and Dark Souls with its boss battles, the move toward inclusivity is a welcome one.

Tunic è un'avventura imperdibile per tutti coloro che amano immergersi in un mondo avvolgente, misterioso e ricco di segreti da scoprire. Artisticamente delizioso e con un combat system appagante e divertente, l'Indie firmato da Andrew Shouldice sa trasformarsi in una sfida assuefacente, i cui enigmi finiscono per popolare la mente dei giocatori anche quando non hanno il pad tra le mani. Arduo, ma non punitivo, il titolo distribuito da Finji propone un livello di difficoltà non indifferente, ma non manca all'appello una Story Mode che può essere attivata e disattivata in qualunque momento. Riuscitissimo ibrido tra i primi The Legend of Zelda e la tradizione Souls-like, Tunic offre un viaggio originale capace di protrarsi ampiamente oltre le venti ore. Attrezzato di localizzazione in italiano, l'Action Adventure parla una lingua tutta sua, con un "manuale di istruzioni" da ricostruire passo dopo passo, tra passaggi segreti, intuizioni improvvise e test coraggiosi.

Plus qu’un très bon Zelda-like, Tunic est un formidable jeu d’aventure-puzzle qui va enchanter les fans d’exploration et de secrets. Car le jeu d’Andrew Shouldice et de ses copains en contient beaucoup. Vraiment beaucoup. À commencer par ceux cachés en dehors des sentiers battus, grâce à une 3D isométrique colorée de toute beauté. Mais surtout ceux dissimulés dans un manuel papier directement intégré au jeu. Une idée géniale qui fait aussi bien office de carte, de manuel d’histoire que de recueil d’indices, et qui se place au cœur de la progression. Tunic sait ainsi très régulièrement surprendre le joueur avec des choses présentes depuis le début - un passage, une mécanique de jeu - mais qui se révèlent des heures plus tard. Sans oublier les phases d’action exigeantes et solides, qui renferment des moments marquants. Des combats qu’il est d’ailleurs possible de rendre très simples, grâce à des options d’accessibilité. De quoi se concentrer avant tout sur les secrets de Tunic, que nous avons pris un pied monstre à résoudre. Car c'est là que se cache la vraie richesse du jeu. Un gros coup de coeur.

Tunic hat es mir nicht leicht gemacht: Die bestenfalls undeutlichen Hinweise, die kniffligen Kämpfe und die vielen Momente, in denen ich wirklich überlegt habe, was das Spiel eigentlich von mir will, haben mich anfangs eingeschüchtert. Doch nach einer Weile ist der Funke dann doch noch übergesprungen und ich konnte es kaum noch aus der Hand legen: Tunic trägt sein kryptisches Konzept für meinen Geschmack ein bisschen zu stolz vor sich her, doch wer sich darauf einlässt, wird auch mit einem stimmungsvollen, fordernden und erstaunlich motivierenden Abenteuer belohnt, das man sich nach und nach selbst entschlüsselt. Vor allem Entdecker und Rätselfreunde, die jeden Stein in einer Spielwelt umdrehen wollen, kommen dabei auf ihre Kosten. Wer aber eine solide Story erwartet und bei kniffligen Bossen schnell das Handtuch wirft, sollte besser einen großen Bogen um das Spiel machen. Mein Tipp für alle, die eher ein klassischeres Zelda-Erlebnis suchen: Greift lieber zu Blossom Tales oder Ocean's Heart. Wenn ihr aber ein Spiel wollt, das euch zur Abwechslung mal nicht alles vorkaut, dann ist Tunic das richtige Indie-Abenteuer für euch.

Tunic est un bijou. C'est la quintessence du jeu d'aventure et d'exploration que l'on a trop tendance à ne voir qu'en jetant un œil dans le rétroviseur. Mignon, beau, attrayant visuellement, profond... C'est clairement l'une des plus belles surprises de 2022. Le titre fait de l'exploration une mécanique de gameplay à part entière et vous transportera dans un monde merveilleux qui sera bien difficile d'oublier sitôt.

Tunic riesce a prendere qualcosa (in scala ovviamente ridotta) da Zelda, Dark Souls e Death’s Door, risultando un action-adventure impegnativo e affascinante anche se privo di spunti davvero originali o tali da renderlo un gioco imperdibile.

Tunic è uno dei tributi più appassionati che abbiamo mai avuto modo di provare verso la serie The Legend of Zelda, in particolare A Link to the Past, cui somiglia in moltissimi aspetti e a cui porge rispetto ogni volta che può. Sembra essere per prima cosa un atto d'amore, quindi un'opera a se stante. Se vogliamo qui ci sono tutta la sua bellezza e i suoi limiti: da un lato riesce ad avvicinarsi al suo oggetto di venerazione, dall'altro non sembra mai volersene davvero distaccare, se non in qualche riuscita diversione stilistica. In ultima istanza il viaggio non c'è dispiaciuto per niente, nonostante lo avessimo in buona parte già fatto.

Avec sa direction artistique directement tirée de Zelda et sa bande-son enchanteresse, TUNIC sait poser une ambiance délectable dans un monde qui ne cesse de vous surprendre. Mais sous ses airs gentillets se cache un jeu assez rude aux combats parfois tendus et efficacement tactiques qui pâtissent malheureusement un peu du manque de punch du héros, du moins au départ. Il faudra parvenir à dépasser l’absence d’indications claires pouvant dérouter, voire décourager, pour pouvoir en profiter. Mais il serait dommage de ne pas s’accrocher, car le titre se révèle finalement d’une richesse insoupçonnée.
