Quantum of Solace isn't a bad little action game on DS, but it is noticeably less cunning and sleek as the agent that inspires it. While stealth can be used to a certain extent, and while the added melee mode attempted to deepen the core experience, we often found ourselves getting just a strong of results from sprinting through the halls with 007 armed and dangerous, getting the jump on baddies, and then mowing them down from a rage of two or three feet. The camera is too close for any serious gunplay, and the lack of a cover system means you're often stat-mashing against other players to whittle down stats and ultimately deliver a killing blow, and stylus-only control is a bit odd in certain cases, specifically when dealing with "tap to shoot" controls that slightly manipulate the camera with every tap, or just aren't as satisfying or accurate as we'd like. If you're a Bond fan, and you've got your heart set on a pocket offering, Quantum of Solace will satisfy for at least a few sittings, with lots of options, character expansion, and some pretty impressive production values for a DS game. The gameplay though seems to take a back seat to the rest of the package, and while it still has its fun moments, there are a handful of better ways to do this type of game on DS.
On ne peut nier que ce Quantum of Solace DS fait parfois preuve d'originalité. Pourtant, on se rappellera beaucoup plus facilement de ses défauts (caméra mal placée, difficulté abusée, absence de multi) que ses qualités comme un système de cartes intéressant ou un gameplay optant pour une pluralité de styles. Certes, le jeu de Vicarious Visions alterne infiltration, combats au corps-à-corps et gunfights mais comme la réalisation est bancale de bout en bout, vous ne risquez justement pas de le voir de si tôt... Le bout.
