Hell is Us has a blend of exploration, puzzles, and combat that, while familiar, pushes you to really pay attention to the world around you in a way that’s both compelling and occasionally frustrating. Its stark approach to quest and map tracking forces you to use your own powers of observation and take notes to solve its challenges, and the puzzles littered throughout the world kept me on my toes more than action-adventure games like this typically do. Though its lack of enemy variety and fairly straightforward combat mean the action sections don’t stack up in the same way, though there are enough tools in Remi's arsenal to at least have a good time while taking down its monsters. Hell is Us doesn't shy away from showing the dark reality of a country ravaged by war while doing so, as well as how the worst parts of humanity are, in the end, more harrowing than our most terrifying nightmares. It holds up a mirror to us and the world we live in, pushing the boundaries of its own audience's discomfort in a way that will stick with me past any of its fights.

With an incredibly dense lore and labyrinthine level design, Hell Is Us is a captivating experience. The game takes its solid (but tough) combat and chin-scratching puzzles and elevates them with a century spanning mystery that goes deeper and deeper. Its hands off approach means there is a huge emphasis on the world, and thankfully Rogue Factor does not disappoint. It’s not going to be for everyone, but for those that love a good lore-filled mystery, this is a PS5 must-play.

El port de Star Wars Outlaws brilla en Nintendo Switch 2 con una calidad técnica que poco tiene que envidiar a la de otras plataformas, con el atractivo de poder jugarlo en cualquier parte, y con mejores resultados que en dispositivos como Steam Deck. Un port que eleva el techo de lo que Nintendo Switch 2 puede hacer, aunque sea a 30 fps.

Silksong n'est pas la révolution d'une décennie comme Breath of the Wild ou éventuellement GTA 6. Sa difficulté et son univers font de lui un jeu encore réservé à un public amateur d'experience exigeante malgré un effort notable dans son accessibilité. Reste que dans sa catégorie, c'est un roi qui n'a aucunement perdu sa couronne. Le titre suinte par chaque pore de sa peau l'amour de ses développeurs. En plus d'être incontesté dans son domaine, Silksong est un exemple pour tous. Un exemple qui montre ce que l'on peut livrer avec du temps et de l'amour. Comme une chenille, les développeurs de la Team Cherry se sont isolés dans leur cocon. Et pendant 7 ans, ils ont pu créer un jeu vidéo à l'image de la soie : léger, doux, fort, qui va sans aucun doute résister à l'épreuve du temps.

Cronos: The New Dawn n’est pas le chef-d’œuvre espéré, mais un jalon essentiel dans l’évolution de Bloober Team. Fustrant parfois, angoissant souvent, il incarne la volonté sincère d’un studio décidé à dépasser ses errements pour se forger une véritable identité, même si ses hommages restent trop visibles. Survival horror exigeant, lent et pesant, il ne cherche pas à séduire mais à oppresser. Une expérience surtout marquante par la maîtrise des codes d’un genre que ses artisans connaissent désormais sur le bout des doigts.

Cronos: The New Dawn, è una grande occasione sprecata; durante le prime ore di gioco ero soddisfatto, ma più procedevo nell’avventura più la mia convinzione traballava. Gli elementi di trama non sviluppati, i bug, l’avere sostanzialmente a che fare sempre con lo stesso scenario hanno pesato sempre di più sul mio voto; vorrei, in parte, poter essere maggiormente generoso, ma come ho già detto devo valutare quello che ho davanti, e non posso in buona coscienza consigliare in modo entusiasta un titolo che potrebbe far perdere ore di progresso a chi lo acquistasse subito. Il mio non è un giudizio negativo, siamo comunque di fronte a un gioco valido ma che poteva essere decisamente migliore a fronte di un maggiore impegno e/o tempo di sviluppo.

Cronos: The New Dawn è un altro centro pieno per Bloober Team. Non reinventa di certo la ruota, ma nel suo mix perfettamente riuscito di influenze, generi e ispirazioni, viene fuori un survival horror che cita i classici, ma sa anche dire la sua. Merito di un sistema di shooting che si dimostra all'altezza, del micromanaging di risorse sempre stimolante e di un'idea che lo caratterizza dall'inizio alla fine: non far fondere i nemici. Cronos è un videogioco politico, profondamente polacco, attuale nel saper trattare di una malattia spaventosa che ci ricorda fantasmi recenti. Ed è soprattutto un segnale importante per Bloober, perché ha tutti i presupposti per diventare un cult e un franchise che in futuro potrà brillare tra le stelle insieme a Dead Space, pur esplorando la quotidianità fratturata degli horror terrestri.

Cronos The New Dawn è un gioco solido e convincente sotto quasi ogni punto di vista, a partire dall'impianto narrativo fino ad arrivare alla robusta formula di gameplay, passando per l'affascinante immaginario disperato e disperante che ne permea ogni pixel. Se si soprassiede su qualche piccolo neo sotto il punto di vista tecnico e contenutistico, ciò che avrete tra le mani è un progetto che trasuda tutta la passione dei suoi autori. La struttura ludica, pur apparendo sulla carta abbastanza conservativa, nasconde una profondità di tutto rispetto che farà di certo la gioia degli appassionati del genere. Non è un gioco che reinventa la ruota, sia chiaro, ma è comunque uno dei migliori survival horror attualmente disponibili sul mercato. Ed è un risultato che la dice lunga sul talento ormai indiscutibile del team di Cracovia.

Bloober Team ha fatto centro un’altra volta, dimostrando come l’esperienza accumulata in anni e anni di produzioni horror stia portando a titoli di qualità sempre maggiore. Cronos: The New Dawn partiva come una nuova IP con tutto da dimostrare ed è riuscita a convincerci grazie a un’ambientazione affascinante coadiuvata da un’atmosfera intensa, meccaniche da survival horror che funzionano alla perfezione e un ottimo level design. Siamo convinti che per molti appassionati del genere Cronos possa diventare un nome da tenere d’occhio in futuro, ma per ora godetevi quest’ottimo inizio.

Daemon X Machina Titanic Scion n’est ni une véritable suite, ni un reboot, et il parvient à séduire aussi bien les vétérans que les nouveaux venus. Sa réorientation, aussi bien esthétique que vers un monde ouvert, se fait sans douleur et c’est même une réussite. Le gameplay gagne en profondeur et voyager dans un tel monde est bien plus immersif que dans le premier opus. Si Titanic Scion réussit dans les grandes lignes ce qu'il entreprend, on retrouve tout de même quelques défauts, comme une narration qui manque de profondeur, et quelques maladresses d'écriture. Titanic Scion reste une expérience agréable et prenante, avec une formule généreuse qui accroche manette en main, mais il y avait certainement la place pour gravir encore quelques marches et passer à un autre niveau. Néanmoins, ce nouveau Daemon X Machina ne manque pas d'ambition et devrait trouver son public sans difficulté.

Rather than trying to bring Sony's classic golfing series into the modern age, Bandai Namco has ensured Everybody's Golf Hot Shots feels like one of the older games in the series. That's certainly not a negative: it has a devoted fanbase for a reason, and the decision to stick with the three-press swing system and provide lots of single-player content results in a pleasantly authentic old-school Everybody's Golf experience.

Everybody’s Golf Hot Shots carries on the series traditions with solid courses, a robust character levelling system, and the appropriate level of silliness. However, the experience is uneven on Switch. Fans may enjoy it in short bursts, but technical issues and patchy presentation stop it from being the standout entry it could have been.
