Terraria si presente su Nintendo Switch in forma smagliante. Stiamo in fondo parlando di un titolo senza tempo, che chi ha già apprezzato in passato, potrebbe decidere di ricominciare riuscendo a variare totalmente la precedente esperienza. Dubitiamo ci sia bisogno di dire altro su un gioco che, a prescindere dai propri gusti, resterà negli annali del medium, con buona pace dei detrattori o di chi non ne ha capito le potenzialità, forse ancora maggiori dello stesso osannato Minecraft.

S'il ne réussit pas tout ce qu'il entreprend, The Sinking City reste un jeu qui ne manque pas de caractère. Certes, nous aurions aimé une enquête plus libre que celle qu'on nous avait promise, des combats nettement mieux maîtrisés ou une technique plus solide. Il en reste cependant un titre bien ficelé, intéressant, qui parvient à laisser au moins l'illusion de l'autonomie pour l'enquêteur que vous serez, et qui sait s'auréoler d'une atmosphère pesante et d'une écriture soignée laissant la place à des choix qui comptent. Une bonne surprise.

I’m inclined to call F1 2019 the most complete version of Codemasters’ series to date. The Career Mode has some good ideas and the inclusion of the new classic cars and the F2 cars add a bit of variety to the series. If you pay for something, however, you shouldn’t need to wait to unlock it. The AI can be a killer and racing online will have you weeding through some jobbers until you gain some experience on the Super License. Running at a silky smooth frame rate and capturing the sound of the cars while not having an overly-difficult handling model makes the core game the best that it will be this generation. F1 2019 is embracing the legacy of the sport and stays true to providing a true replication of Formula One.

Nonostante i difetti risultino proprio in quelli che sarebbe dovuti essere i punti di maggior distacco da Yakuza, Judgment offre un'esperienza pari se non addirittura più coinvolgente di alcuni titoli della serie. Il passaggio da malavitoso a investigatore privato consente maggiore sinergia con le vicende che si susseguono nel corso di un vero e proprio thriller. I nuovi elementi introdotti risultano un po' deboli nell'economia del gioco ma la totalità dell'esperienza si regge comunque su una struttura consolidata in anni e anni di sviluppo e che, pur con le dovute somiglianze, riesce ad accontentare gli appassionati del gameplay action e sopra le righe che ha fatto la storia di Yakuza assieme alle sue storie. Inoltre, non essendo direttamente collegato alla serie, Judgment è anche un ottimo punto di partenza per chiunque volesse avvicinarsi al lavoro di Ryu Ga Gotoku; se invece siete giocatori veterani, rimane comunque un gioco consigliato.

Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled is at once a joyful and joyless recreation of a stone-cold classic. Packed to the gills with content, this drive down memory lane still contains a sense of the original’s magic, and artfully decorates your favorite tracks and drivers with an impeccable attention to detail. But it’s not immune to the modern era, and the threat of live-service DLC and nostalgia-grabbing microtransactions looms heavy over the entire game.

Forgotton Anne si conferma anche su iOS un'ottima avventura, caratterizzata da uno stile grafico strepitoso e da una narrazione molto convincente, supportata fra le altre cose da una colonna sonora di gran classe. Tuffarsi nel misterioso mondo dei Dimenticati e indagare sulle fazioni ribelli e sulle loro motivazioni risolvendo enigmi si rivela fin da subito un'esperienza coinvolgente, e il formato scelto dagli sviluppatori per questa riduzione mobile pensiamo sia il migliore possibile: si completa una parte introduttiva e poi si è liberi di smettere oppure acquistare la versione completa al prezzo di 9,99 euro, la metà di quanto richiesto su PC e console. Considerata la qualità del prodotto, peraltro, avrete ben poche remore a spendere questa cifra.

There’s an argument to be made that Judgment does at points let the familiar get the best of itself — confusing the mere sake of additional features and mechanics for those that genuinely feel like fresh changes. While its gameplay additions, those that cater towards the more detective-orientated style of play and presentation, can feel like a mixed bag of shallow and interesting deviations alike, it’s but a minor crease in a game that once again excels both on its content and the knowledge on how to use it. A story that is engaging, intriguing yet thoughtfully structured, complete with another grand cast of new characters, even when it risks of becoming too pedestrian, Judgment predominantly finds the means to keep players fixed on the events unfolding. Fans of the Yakuza series may be quick to filter out what’s genuinely new from everything else, but for a game as packed and as entertaining as this, what it may lack in pure originality, Judgment more than makes up for with a game that is as fun to engage with as it is to just sit back and watch as the now-commonly bizarre antics of Kamurocho play out to delightful and convincing effect.
