LEGO DC Super-Villains è la glorificazione dei precedenti titoli targati DC Comics e LEGO. Un mondo che pesca a piene mani da fumetti, film e cartoni animati, divertente da esplorare per i fan e interessante anche per qualche neofita. Buona varietà di situazioni, con qualche eccesso di ripetitività nella risoluzione delle stesse. Perfetto per i fan storici dei supereroi della Distinta Concorrenza o della serie LEGO, mentre il consiglio ai detrattori è quello di tenersi alla larga e mettersi il cuore in pace, perché i mattoncini colorati non hanno intenzione di sparire, anzi.

Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise è indubbiamente una tra le migliori iterazioni videoludiche dedicate al celebre Kenshiro. Il titolo propone una trama "alternativa" rispetto a quella vista - e apprezzata - nelle varie serie dell'anime, riuscendo a proporre un sistema di combattimento assolutamente divertente e brutale. Alcuni difetti strutturali non gli consentono di prendere il volo a dovere, ma siamo di fronte ad un titolo che farà la gioia di tutti i fan di Hokuto no Ken.

NBA 2K Playgrounds 2 adds depth to both the solo and multiplayer modes. Season mode improves the card collecting loop and Playgrounds Championship introduces ranked play for competitive users. The 2v2 basketball gameplay perhaps feels a bit too familiar but it’s refined in welcome ways. Pick-up-and-play arcade basketball is, thankfully, still alive and well.

NBA 2K Playgrounds 2 supone un pequeño salto adelante con respecto al título que nos llegó hace un año y medio. Está mucho más pulido a nivel gráfico y su estilo caricaturesco ayuda bastante. Además de una mayor cantidad de contenido, tanto en pistas como en cartas de jugadores, este año tendremos un mayor control sobre el equipo que queremos confeccionar, pudiendo optar por comprar a nuestros jugadores favoritos con moneda ingame o recurrir a los sobres si queremos un toque de aleatoriedad. En este sentido, es una pena que se añada una segunda moneda a modo de micropagos para elementos cosméticos, pues además de la mala fama que da, no hay otra forma de conseguirlos.

Warriors Orochi 4 has a lot going for it, but its sheer lack of difficulty is hard to overlook when taking its widely interesting gameplay mechanics into account. Still, with its needless simplicity to the side, the game delivers on its promise to be the most fun and diverse entry in the series so far. Furthermore, in contrast to Dynasty Warriors 9’s launch, Warriors Orochi 4’s technical performance is top-notch.

Après un premier épisode très oubliable, Saber Interactive a su revoir sa copie et revient avec un jeu de basket vraiment rigolo. Le gameplay a gagné en équilibre et les parties en rythme, en intensité mais aussi en variété. Jouer contre des joueurs humains, mais aussi contre l'IA, est donc un véritable plaisir. En revanche, difficile de ne pas lever un sourcil lorsque l'on constate le prix des boosters de cartes permettant d'accueillir plus de joueurs, ou la frugalité du menu principal, qui a bien peu de choses à offrir aux gamers. Reste un jeu de basket hyper arcade qui saura amuser fans et profanes, le genre de titre qui fait un ravage lors des soirées entre amis.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 has made some bold changes to the series, and ultimately, they’re for the better. The inclusion of a battle royale mode is a first, and even the more familiar multiplayer and Zombies survival mode are not what they once were. Changes are always risky, but in Black Ops 4’s case, it worked out for the better.
