Non sapendo assolutamente cosa aspettarmi da Shining Resonance Refrain, mi sono trovato di fronte un action-GdR molto piacevole e non troppo impegnativo nel combat-system ma dotato di un’ottima longevità (grazie anche ai DLC) e di una componente narrativa meno banale di quanto si possa credere. Certo, nulla di nuovo sotto il sole e su Switch il comparto grafico tradisce chiaramente i quattro anni trascorsi dalla versione per PlayStation 3, ma per il resto mi sono divertito e gli aspetti “social” all’interno del party che tanto temevo sono stati invece inseriti con intelligenza.

The Lion’s Song is a beautiful narrative-focused game if you get passed the sluggish cursor and the slow character movement. Each episode contains its own beautiful story which are woven together to form a satisfying conclusion. Any fans of the art scene in the early 20th century or anyone hungry for a good narrative should definitely board the train on this one.

LEGO The Incredibles 2 isn't the best platformer, or even the best LEGO game, but for younger gamers, big Pixar fans and those just wanting more from The Incredibles, it's a decent choice, by no means essential for anyone, but absolutely packed with a good few hours of fun with family members.

In definitiva il lavoro svolto dal colosso nipponico SEGA per questa remaster vive di idiosincrasie, esattamente come la cultura a cui appartiene: da un lato racconta una storia ricca di ridondanti e ciclici cliché, accompagnata da un comparto tecnico molto zoppicante, salvato in parte dalla caratterizzazione dei personaggi e dei vari nemici che si incontrano nell’incedere dell’avventura, dall’altro offre un gameplay tutto sommato ben rodato e con diverse idee interessanti. Se non avete mai giocato un capitolo della serie Shining e se non avete problemi con la lingua inglese, allora Shining Resonance Refrain riuscirà a regalarvi parecchie ore di spensierato intrattenimento. Ancora meglio se siete fan della saga e per tutto questo tempo vi siete dovuti affidare al mercato import: in questo caso dovete assolutamente recuperarlo, senza se e senza ma.
