Tears To Tiara II: Heir Of The Overlord is not a bad game by any means but it does take a lot to get going. If you manage to stick past the very long and seemingly overtly drawn out first chapter you will be rewarded with a fun battle system that makes many interesting choices to add a fresh feel to what is usually a very basic genre full of dated mechanics. Thankfully, the music, the art and the battles will be enjoyable for fans of the genre. It would have been better had more time been taken with the localization though. English voices would have allowed players to better appreciate the rich story, rather than having to read time and time again. Still, it is an enjoyable first effort for the franchise in its attempt to reach a western audience.

While Hitman GO may have been tailor-made for the mobile crowd, it’s just as good on PlayStation with the new Definitive Edition. The same head-scratching puzzle gameplay that surprised everyone in 2014 is still great in 2016, and the fact that you’re getting all of the game’s additional content, upgraded visuals and cross-buy/cross-play for $7.99 is an awesome deal. If you’re a fan of puzzle games or a fan of the Hitman series you need to give this game a shot, as it blends both into a package that is a ton of fun to play.

C'est avec une certaine délectation que l'on replonge dans l'enfer sanglant des combats de Vermintide 2. Une suite au cahier des charges pourtant assez simple : reprendre la plupart des réussites du premier volet sorti en 2015 et y apporter quelques nouveautés nécessaires au renouvellement du plaisir de jeu. Au gameplay simple, mais diablement fun des combats vient donc s'ajouter une plus grande dimension RPG, une nouvelle faction ennemie, un level design plus ouvert et un souffle épique décuplé par une réalisation au niveau. À envisager avant tout en multi à quatre joueurs, Vermintide 2 manque encore d'un peu de finition sur certains angles et devrait en toute logique corriger les écueils de son système de matchmaking au fil des patchs.

David Jaffe has always been known for games that can be a bit over the top and Drawn to Death may be the most extreme example of that to date. The notebook art style is very unique and works well with the varying character roster throughout the fast paced arena matches. However, the long wait times and crass humor used to make Drawn to Death seem edgy really drag down the experience as a whole.

Battleborn is a well-oiled machine with the potential for some great times to be had, but sometimes getting to those great times can take some patience.

There’s very little on the Nintendo 3DS that compares to Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon. It’s unique in the type of gameplay that it offers, and it’s a surprising game on so many levels. The sheer amount of enemy types in single player, numerous collectibles, and attention to detail given to each and every environment, is a refreshing change of pace. While we’ve seen so many games that add components like multiplayer for filler content, or just seem content with slightly varied enemy models, every peice of Dark Moon feels meaningful and intended to enhance the experience, and there are a lot of those peices. It doesn’t hurt that Dark Moon is easily one of the best looking Nintendo 3DS games available, if not the best looking game on the handheld. Either way, it’s the new must-have for the device.

Star Trek: Bridge Crew is a standout VR experience. It not only delivers something that fans have wanted for decades, it does so in unique and interesting ways. Star Trek fans will love every second of it, and thanks to random missions, that time can stretch for quite a while. It’s just unfortunate that the game doesn’t offer more. More enemy types, more ships, more mission options, more of everything. The game is excellent in its current form, but with a little bit of tweaking it could be the system-selling VR game that we’ve all been waiting for.

With endless replayability, Battlezone offers one of the more robust PSVR experiences available at launch. It is also exceedingly immersive, and its online co-op multiplayer makes for a unique experience in the VR gaming space. It's too bad that a lot of the underlying gameplay design decisions weren't better implemented. The extreme challenge is just one thing, and could be fixed in a future update for that matter. But players simply won't find themselves that drawn back into the game after the first couple of rounds, mostly due to frustration, or an overall sluggish feel.

Alientrap has struck a great balance between their core 2-D Platforming and RPG-lite mechanics, and a varied world that challenges players in different ways throughout the course of this tightly paced adventure.

Games based on F1 actually date back longer than most game series, but they definitely have featured a lot of change over the years as many different developers have been involved. Last year’s entry continued the downward slide of the series in recent outings, largely due to a lack of features, but thankfully F1 2016 manages to revitalize the series with the return of Career mode in one of its best entries to date.

Bravo Team es un título de lo más limitado, que no consigue ofrecer una experiencia de realidad virtual memorable. Sí que consigue que las sensaciones de apuntado y disparo sean fidedignas, sobre todo si hacemos uso del Aim Controller, pero más allá de esto se queda lejos de sus objetivos. Resulta corto, poco variado, feote y bastante limitado en su propuesta.

There’s not much that Dynasty Warriors: Godseekers gets wrong, but what it does get right is basically what any other strategy RPG is expected to get right. It’s simply one of a number of similar games in a somewhat crowded genre, with nothing to really help it stand out other than its license. Putting that aside, Dynasty Warriors: Godseekers may not be what you expect from Dynasty Warriors, but it’s a competent strategy RPG that should at least satisfy fans of the franchise. Those new to the series may want to think twice, however.

L.A. Noire: The VR Case File is a bold, inventive, and engaging VR title, marking the first tentative steps into the next step in VR gaming. It has its issues, such as immersion breaking loading screens and an imperfect movement system. What it does well it does exceptionally well though, nailing immersion like few other games have. You’ll feel like a true 40’s detective, and you’ll love every second of it. Being able to drive around a realistic take on LA is just icing on the cake, but it’s some pretty sweet icing.

The level of polish in Dream Team is truly amazing. From the variety of colorful places to explore on Pi’illo Island, to the psychedelic adventures of the Dream World, Mario & Luigi: Dream Team visually looks fantastic.
