If you liked Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light, then you will like Temple of Osiris. A few mechanical issues make the experience less than ideal, but this cheap little game can be a lot of action-packed fun.

From fighting Kung-Fu Dugongs in the desert, to defeating a Vampire Pirate, One Piece Unlimited World Red Deluxe has everything you need for a hilarious romp around its colourful world. If you’ve played it before, you won’t be missing out on anything major, as the DLC is just a few extra costumes and small quests which die-hard fans will have already picked up. Ultimately, this could have been a decent remaster, but instead it just seems to be a slightly lazy upscaled port, with DLC chucked in to pad out the content.

Farpoint is an interesting game when taken on its own. It’s an OK shooter with some interesting VR mechanics that lift it out of mediocrity. When thought about in the entire VR gaming space it becomes more important, but doesn’t change the feeling that players will get from the game overall. It is not a tech demo, offering a full campaign of relatively short length. And the Aim Controller is really a fantastic new control scheme for VR shooters. It’s worth checking out for VR and shooter enthusiasts, but others might want to wait for a sale

What Remains of Edith Finch is a gripping exploration game, and one that will likely have you thinking about it long after the credits roll. It quickly sucks you into its world and has you hungry to figure out what’s going on with the Finch family, and what you uncover never fails to be surprising. It may not be the longest or most challenging game out there, but it’s one that has an intriguing world that’s worth visiting.

Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen may be a few years old now, but the new PC version is still a blast to play and offers a nice mix of Tolkien’s The Lord of the Rings and From Software’s Dark Souls. There are dozens of hours of epic RPG action to be had here and while the complete package isn’t perfect, that doesn’t stop the experience from being a heck of a lot of fun.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skryim for Nintendo Switch sells itself on its name alone. It’s Skyrim…for Nintendo Switch. Are there some additions? Sure, but nothing that changes that core experience. And that core experience is what you’re getting, but with the ability to take it wherever, whenever. If that is worth $60 to you then this is a must-buy. If you’ve never played Skyrim then this is definitely a fine way to play it. If you have the game in any of its other modern forms then that’s probably a better way to play. But this is still an amazing achievement and shows the power of the Switch for AAA gaming, even if it’s a six year old title.

Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 became pretty elusive after being delisted awhile back, so getting a chance to obtain and play the game with ease again at a solid price is great. The single player content is still lacking and the netcode is pretty shoddy, but an impressive character lineup and the number of costumes included in Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 for a bargain price is just the recipe to whet your appetite while you wait for the upcoming fourth entry in the series.

A shift to shorter, more intimate stories alongside the impressive visual and audio presentation make Battlefield 1 one of the more enjoyable single player shooters from DICE in quite some time. While multiplayer is far less ambitious than we’ve seen in years prior, it still scratches that itch for Battlefield fans who crave the chaos and cooperation that only this series can deliver.

Resident Evil Revelations is a fun and captivating game that unfortunately has been surpassed by every other entry that has come afterwards. For players who still want to give it a try, it offers a unique and suspensful setting, sinister enemies, and a reunion with two of the most iconic characters in the series, all of that in the most content-filled version so far. But for a casual player who has not gone through the majority of Resident Evil games, there are much better options out there.

Okami HD is the best version of Hideki Kamiya’s unforgettable production. A combination of art and gameplay which appeals because of its stunning visual style and ground breaking interaction between players and the world of the game. Longtime fans will not find many new features apart from returning mini-games, better visuals, and a seamless graphic performance, but it is a specially good chance for new generations to discover one of the most unique video games of all time.

With abundant customisation, and a foundation that allows infinite hours to be sunk into online play, Everybody’s Golf is a solid series entry despite minor niggles in the graphics and online server departments. It’s also very welcoming to newcomers whilst providing a serious challenge to veterans, all wrapped up in a huge online and offline package.

Battle Chasers: Nightwar delivers a satisfying game, but it really shines in moments where it blends a comic book with an RPG seamlessly. Fans of the series will fall in love with it, but it doesn’t revolutionize the genre or come close to reaching the upper echelons of it.

Double Fine was able to take a classic gaming genre and imbue new life into it with their trademark humor, and the resulting experience is solid. Just floating through the demented world that they’ve created is enjoyable thanks to the wonky characters you’ll come into contact with, and the mechanics are unique despite existing within a pretty standard genre framework. It could use some tweaks here and there, but fans of metroidvanias are sure to have a great time floating through the ridiculous world of Headlander.

If you are looking for a game where you can drive beautifully modded tractors and all kinds of farming machinery around a farm, then you've found the game for you. Otherwise, the unrelenting grind, the sheer learning curve and the lack of attention to the smaller things that make good games good makes Farming Simulator 15 forgettable.
