Même en étant forcé de changer de nom, EA Sports FC 24 nous ressert la même soupe. Il y a bien des efforts de faits, avec de nouvelles animation, un meilleur rythme qui entraine une meilleure construction voire de légères nouveautés sur les modes en place, mais cela ne suffit pas. Le titre s’embourbe encore et toujours dans des soucis de gameplay déjà présents sur le précédents volets, tout en ayant le génie (ou pas), de rajouter de nouveaux problème. Autrement dit, l’évolution est là, mais elle reste minime, d’où la même note que l’année passée. On se consolera comme on peut avec un bon contenu, des licences toujours présentes, une bonne technique voire le cross play, qui viennent apporter un plus. Mais, dans l’absolu, la révolution ce n’est pas pour tout de suite.

Cocoon è un intrigante puzzle game che, pur non reinventando le meccaniche del genere, immerge il giocatore in un viaggio introspettivo attraverso sfere che comprendono interi mondi al loro interno. Sebbene particolarmente semplice, offre enigmi ben costruiti e una curva di apprendimento estremamente bilanciata. Non raggiunge le vette espressive di titoli come Journey, ma rappresenta un significativo progresso nei giochi di Carlsen, invitando il giocatore a riflettere su sé stesso e sui mondi che ha creato. Assolutamente consigliato.

Cocoon demuestra que Limbo e Inside no fueron casualidad. Es un videojuego diseñado de manera fantástica y minimalista. La jugabilidad sabe explicar quién eres y por qué, y no usa ni un solo tutorial. Su flow es embriagador e hipnótico, y su idea de saltar de mundo en mundo es fabulosa. A eso le sumas uns puzzles muy bien diseñados y tienes ante ti un juegazo que no te puedes perder.

Cocoon Cocoon è una piccola perla che grazie alla sua struttura ludica da puzzle game "avvolgente" e al suo concept geniale è riuscito a stupirci completamente. Tuttavia, anche perché il gioco è così bello e intenso, quando siamo arrivati ai titoli di coda, dopo solo 5 ore, ci sembrava di aver appena cominciato a scalfirne la superficie. Whether you’re a Type-Moon follower with Saber wallpaper on your phone or just someone who appreciate virtual tourism, Fate/Samurai Remnant’s journey to Keian-Era Japan will delight. There’s a storyline that doesn’t assume familiarity with previous works that erupts in regular doses of intense, action-driven combat. But of all, the writing is a cut above any previous works set in the Fate multiverse.

Fate/Samurai Remnant è una sorpresa molto gradita nel panorama degli action RPG. Nonostante un sistema basato nelle sue meccaniche base e nel level design su quello dei musou, il gioco riesce a essere molto vario e articolato in ogni aspetto, soprattutto nel suo combat system. Le tecniche utilizzabili sono davvero tante e inoltre sarà possibile variare personaggi molto spesso, così da non annoiarsi mai. Ci saranno poi tante altre meccaniche interessanti, come le battaglie per le fonti di energia, i mini-giochi e molto altro. A rendere apprezzabilissimo questo gioco è però soprattutto la storia, davvero ben narrata in quasi ogni suo punto e con un cast di personaggi ben caratterizzati. Insomma, se l'intento era quello di realizzare un videogioco che fosse imperdibile per i fan di Fate, lo scopo è stato raggiunto.

Fate/Samurai Remnant me ha gustado pese a los muchos problemas que he tenido con él. Me he quedado a puntito de ponerle un recomendado, pero tanto sus combates como su forma de pensar su exploración se me ha acabado haciendo pelín pesada. Pero que eso no te amargue la experiencia. Es un videojuego de anime muy divertido y con una de esas historias que enganchan.

Building on what made Inside designer Jeppe Carlsen's previous work stand out, Cocoon not only presents a mind-bending journey through the cosmos via fascinating worlds-within-worlds puzzle mechanics that beg you to delve another layer deeper, but an interesting take on the repetition of work, life, and being part of a "bigger picture." With a relatively short playtime and some well-hidden collectibles that make it worth replaying, Cocoon is a must-play for fans of Limbo or Inside, or anyone looking for a new puzzle adventure to play and then sit down and think about for a while.

Cocoon propone un gameplay solido, che si sviluppa lungo una curva di apprendimento ben congegnata e stimolante. Un impianto in grado di conquistare rapidamente l'attenzione del giocatore, che finisce per restare senza sforzo invischiato in questo insolito intreccio di mondi. A un game design lodevole fa tuttavia da contraltare un comparto narrativo che non riesce a trascinare con altrettanta forza il pubblico. Le motivazioni del protagonista e l'epilogo della sua avventura faticano a lasciare il segno al termine del viaggio proposto da Cocoon. Una dicotomia che troverà estimatori negli amanti dei racconti volutamente criptici, ma che potrebbe generare un lieve disappunto nei giocatori in cerca di emozioni intense. Alla base, ci teniamo a ribadirlo, resta in ogni caso un'esperienza ludica di assoluto pregio.

If you were hoping for a dramatic reinvention of EA’s soccer sim to go along with ditching the FIFA name, EA Sports FC 24 is not that. If you’ve played FIFA, you know exactly what kind of incremental improvements and longstanding problems with AI to expect this year. New mechanics like Evolutions show that EA has a general grasp of how to improve its RPG elements, even if it’s only currently for Ultimate Team where you have to put up with all of the dreaded microtransactions. Elsewhere, Volta mode is still a lot of fun with a full team of friends thanks in part to its unique arenas, while the Career Modes once again suffer from the same lack of care they’ve been missing for years, with the added annoyance of some ill-conceived RNG-based objectives this time. All told, it might have a new name, but EA Sports FC 24 is just about the same, frustrating but beautiful game.

EA Sports FC 24 isn't the huge departure that we'd hoped for. While Ultimate Team devotees will likely be happy, the rest of the game feels like an afterthought in the transition away from the FIFA license.

EA Sports FC 24 è un capitolo calcistico a metà tra rivoluzione e tradizione. Non il passo in avanti imponente che ci si poteva aspettare dall’erede di FIFA 23, ma un simulatore che diverte e piace nonostante persistano alcuni recenti e storici difetti del brand. La ricerca maniacale del realismo, tra animazioni sempre più verosimili e un colpo d’occhio mozzafiato, stride con il solito approccio al gameplay votato interamente alla velocità e alla frenesia, in cui è facilissimo sfrecciare in area di rigore ma è fin troppo complicato difendere con lucidità e costanza. Quella di EA Sports rimane comunque l’unica offerta davvero valida in materia di calcio videoludico in questa parentesi generazionale. In definitiva, complice un ventaglio di modalità più ricco e stratificato che mai, possiamo dire che Electronic Arts abbia portato a casa il risultato anche per la stagione 2023/2024.
