Fate Samurai/Remnant è indubbiamente il miglior prodotto videoludico a tema Fate mai giunto fra le nostre mani, capace non solo di donare una trama avvincente e perfettamente in linea con i più noti e precedenti media, ma anche ricco di un gameplay semplice e intuitivo, che mostra il meglio di sé proprio negli emozionanti scontri tra Master e Servant. La possibilità di poter utilizzare diversi Servant rende l’esperienza ancora più varia, facendo sentire raramente la sensazione di monotonia tra i numerosi scontri. Il lato artistico mantiene senza riserva le alte aspettative, ma il lato tecnico lascia invece trasparire una cura decisamente più altalenante. La mancanza dell’italiano rende inoltre l’esperienza più difficile da apprezzare nella sua totalità, data anche la sua natura ereditaria da visual novel. Se però siete disposti a dargli una possibilità, vi ritroverete sicuramente davanti uno dei migliori capitoli dell’universo di Fate, in particolare per chi decide di viverlo come primo approccio al franchise, senza dimenticare i fan di lunga data che si divertiranno molto a scovare tutti i riferimenti alle passate opere. Indubbiamente un gioco da non lasciarsi sfuggire.

Infinity Strash: DRAGON QUEST The Adventure of Dai is an anime-based action title that, due to floaty combat and poor storytelling, feels like an anime video game of the past. It's clear to see what the target was, it's just unfortunate that it fell short. Roguelike elements show potential but when the reward isn't satisfying there isn't much of a draw. (Review Policy)

Infinity Strash: Dragon Quest The Adventures of Dai is an interesting idea in bringing the anime to video game form that falls short in execution. It sounded great on paper, but nothing comes together in any way that makes this title rise above mediocrity. The basic repetitive gameplay that’s sparsely portioned out between story development prevents this from being the great action RPG it should have been. Fans of The Adventures of Dai or Dragon Questin general might find enjoyment in this title. As critical as this review is there was fun had in playing it, but without the Dragon Quest name no one would give this a second thought. But despite its shortcomings it does still successfully convey the Dragon Quest charm, which might be enough to bring some enjoyment to a small segment of gamers, but most wouldn’t consider it worth the price of admission. As such, it’s difficult to recommend it to anyone but the most hardcore Dragon Quest fans and even they should keep expectations low.

Fate/Samurai Remnant makes a worthwhile addition to the Fate series, as it expertly intertwines Musou-style combat with a unique historical backdrop all to tell a twisted take on the Holy Grail War. Those who are fans of the franchise are sure to enjoy its narrative rich dialogue and colorful cast of characters, but those just looking to jump into the action might find this experience a bit of a slow-burn.

La serie Rune Factory colpisce ancora, con l'ennesima pubblicazione che non farà stracciare le vesti ad alcuno ma che, nondimeno, riuscirà a far allargare un sorriso sul volto di chi proprio non riesce a stare lontano da un campo seminato e da un dungeon colorato. Siamo dinanzi ad un discreto lavoro di ammodernamento di un titolo che all'epoca della prima pubblicazione seppe conquistarsi una folta schiera di appassionati e che oggi, soprattutto se preso a piccole dosi, riesce ancora a divertire e rilassare, che sospettiamo essere poi i due obiettivi primari della serie. Tra le release recenti della saga, questo episodio, va detto, è forse quello più rodato ma anche più grezzo, in termini visivi e di meccaniche di gioco. Qualcuno potrebbe voler aspettare il primo calo di prezzo, qualcun altro rimarrà male per la mancanza di un doppiaggio diffuso, ma il prodotto rimane valido, se preso per quello che è, e si afferma ancora come una buona proposta per chi ama questo sotto-genere di simulazioni dalle sfumature ruolistiche.

Un po' come i grandi esploratori del passato, Valve ha scelto di imbarcarsi in una grandiosa scommessa, quella di migliorare ulteriormente l'FPS più popolare al mondo, curiosa di scoprire cosa ci fosse dietro l'orizzonte della perfezione. Lo ha fatto consapevole che il passaggio al Source 2 avrebbe probabilmente intaccato quel magnifico gameplay competitivo che CS:GO aveva faticosamente costruito dopo anni di piccoli progressi, ma dopo diverse ore trascorse tra le lobby di Counter-Strike 2, possiamo dire che ne è valsa davvero la pena. Certo, l'uscita del gioco è stata un po' affrettata e mancano diverse cose all'appello, eppure Valve ha tutto il tempo e la volontà del mondo per tornare a rendere perfetto il suo sparatutto. Del resto, Counter-Strike non è stato costruito in un giorno.

Counter Strike 2 n’a pas passé l’arme à gauche. En témoignent les nombreux joueurs toujours sur le titre mais aussi les modifications apportées plus dans la forme que dans le fond. Grâce au nouveau moteur Source 2, les cartes connues par les joueurs depuis plus de 20 ans font peau neuve sans changer d’un poil le champ des tactiques possibles ni les sensations de gameplay. Dans le fond, cette mise à jour appelée Counter Strike 2 semble plus avoir pour objectif de se mettre à niveau avec la concurrence que d’attirer un nouveau public. À quoi bon révolutionner une équipe qui gagne déjà ?

Mineko’s Night Market is an adorable little sim that could’ve been cozy, but is mostly just boring chores that don’t reward you in the kinds of satisfying ways we see in other popular games in this relaxed genre. After putting you to work, it doesn’t let up, trapping you in a grind of gathering resources and making crafts for lifeless NPCs. Beyond some purring cats, gorgeous artwork, and a handful of legitimately funny bits, it doesn’t provide anything to make all your work worth it.

Et ce ne sont pas ses cinématiques restées à l'époque de la PSP qui vous gâcherons la fête.

Phantom Liberty arriva sul mercato contestualmente alla pubblicazione dell'Update 2.0, un altro traguardo importante per l'azienda polacca che sta letteralmente infondendo nuova linfa vitale al progetto Cyberpunk 2077. Siamo al cospetto di una ricca espansione con una trama che vira repentinamente verso le atmosfere tipiche dei thriller politici, la cui ottima scrittura è coadiuvata dalle eccellenti interpretazioni del nuovo cast di personaggi tra cui svetta, naturalmente, la stella di Idris Elba. È un viaggio rischioso e pieno di colpi di teatro in cui ogni decisione avrà un peso specifico rilevante nella cavalcata che conduce fino ai titoli di coda. CD Projekt RED ha confezionato un prodotto indirizzato a chi ha amato l'avventura base e vuole continuare a esplorare un nuovo angolo del mondo di Night City, impreziosito da molteplici apporti contenutistici che possono moltiplicare il monte ore da spendere tra le strade della città. Che prezzo ha la libertà? Beh, non vi resta che scoprirlo...
