Diablo 4 is a stunning sequel with near perfect endgame and progression design that makes it absolutely excruciating to put down. The story is a pretty big disappointment despite still being a noticeable improvement over Diablo 3 and there are some annoying bugs that need squashing, but the combat, the loot game, and both the sights and sounds of this world are impressive enough to smooth over those rough edges. Diablo 4 takes the strategy of refining things the series already did so well rather than giving it a more substantial overhaul, and that careful and reverent path has shaped this massive sequel into one of the most polished ARPGs ever created, which makes slicing through the legions of the damned a hell of a good time.

Diablo 4 s’attaque à une tâche impossible dans les pires conditions. Les productions de Blizzard sont examinées à la loupe, après quelques faux pas récents, et on sait que les fans de Diablo font partie des plus exigeants. Malgré celà, le retour de Diablo est absolument brillant. Le joueur fait son retour à Sanctuaire porté par une campagne glauque et violente, mais surtout passionnante. Les personnages qu’on rencontre sont complexes, brisés par un monde qui les a privés de tout espoir dans le conflit éternel contre les enfers. Avec une quantité impressionnante de contenu qui attend le joueurs après la campagne, la rejouabilité exemplaire que présentent les cinq classes disponibles, et la promesse d’ajouts significatifs à l’expérience au fil des saisons, le jeu coche toutes les cases et répond fermement aux attentes les plus folles.

Con Amnesia: The Bunker Frictional Games ritorna all'horror puro, ampliando e rielaborando la base teorica che aveva già illustrato con i Penumbra prima e con Amnesia: The Dark Descent poi. Il risultato è una delle esperienze più terrificanti degli ultimi anni, videoludicamente parlando, elaboratissima nel design e dura verso il giocatore, al punto da risultare spigolosa nella sua angosciante apparente semplicità concettuale. In realtà è un titolo elaboratissimo che non lascia niente al caso e che si fonda su di una base già molto solida, che è quella dell'esperienza del team di sviluppo con il genere.

Blizzard has proven that AAA games CAN launch in a ready state and be a game of the year contender straight off the bat. It’s going to have to be something special that beats Diablo IV to the top of my list.

Exterminar demonios en Diablo 4 ha sido una experiencia increíble. Han sido 50 horas apoteósicas; un viaje inolvidable plagado de combates memorables y emocionantes sorpresas. Y a pesar de haber jugado tanto sigo con ganas de más porque da la sensación de que apenas he explorado la superficie de un juego inmenso plagado de contenidos de calidad. Blizzard ha cubierto el mundo de Santuario de un sinfín de oscuros secretos y temibles campos de batalla que no parecen tener fin. Y aún cuando acabas la historia, sigue desvelando más y más secretos; más y más desafíos extremos solo aptos para los más valientes. Este juego es el mejor regalo que podían recibir los fans de la saga Diablo. Una sangrienta fantasía que no te puedes perder.

Al bij al is Amnesia: The Bunker een angstaanjagende en meeslepende game die fans van de Amnesia-serie zeker zal bekoren. Met zijn soepele gameplay, angstaanjagende elementen, leuke game mechanics en korte maar intense speelduur, is dit spel zeker een aanrader voor liefhebbers van het horrorgenre. Bereid je voor op een enge en opwindende reis in Amnesia: The Bunker!

L'attesa per ritornare a massacrare orde di demoni nel cupo mondo di Sanctuarium è finalmente terminata e Diablo IV è un gioco di ruolo d'azione appagante e divertente, oltre che pieno di contenuti e con una narrazione più articolata e interessante rispetto al passato. Non mancano alcuni difetti, tra cui un design dei dungeon un po' troppo ripetitivo e soprattutto la pervasività del level scaling che va a impattare negativamente sulla crescita del nostro protagonista impedendoci di farci sentire immensamente più potenti di quando abbiamo iniziato. Anche se non siamo di fronte al gioco perfetto, comunque il lavoro svolto da Blizzard unisce quantità e qualità in un mix che difficilmente può lasciare indifferenti, grazie a una presentazione di primissimo livello che poggia su valori produttivi mai visti prima nel genere, a una direzione artistica che ci riporta con successo alle atmosfere cupe dei primi due capitoli, a un gameplay viscerale e intenso, a tante opzioni con cui personalizzare il proprio avatar e cambiare il modo di affrontare la partita, che ne fanno un hack 'n' slash solido e convincente per chiunque voglia tuffarsi nell'azione e massacrare le legioni demoniache.

La prima versione di Diablo 4 è una tela su cui gli sviluppatori potrebbero, nel corso dei mesi, dipingere un vero capolavoro. Il sistema di equipaggiamento e progressione è estremamente solido e si presta bene alle notevoli innovazioni che il team ha intenzione di implementare nel ciclo vitale della produzione, attraverso patch ed espansioni. Se Blizzard riuscirà a mantenere alta l'attenzione sul titolo e a effettuare le giuste modifiche, potremmo trovarci di fronte ad una nuova pietra miliare del genere action RPG.

Diablo 4 feels like the apex of the series, bringing together everything great about the previous entries. It isn't without its minor flaws, and the success of the endgame content is still up in the air, but for once Diablo has a gripping story, phenomenal graphics, and a gameplay loop that doesn't innovate too much but is certainly better than its predecessor.
