Ultimately I'd have to say that as a realistic F1 sim this one takes a back seat to EA's title. However, if they could find a way to release a patch to stabilize the product, and users willing to tolerate the less than friendly user interface, the actual game is good enough to be considered worthy by those who may not want brutal hardcore sim, and would just rather experience the thrill of F1 racing with some assists from the computer. And of course, it would be great if Geoff Crammond and Co. could finally write a new, more believable physics engine. So in the end we get a few new features, such as the longer replays, some nice instructional videos and a bit of a graphics facelift. If you don't own any of the Grand Prix series and EA's title is too daunting for you, you might check out Grand Prix 4. If you like EA's title or want a lot more to say about what your car does, Grand Prix 4 won't win you over.

Chase lacks ingenuity, vive, and excitement. There are no tense moments, no times where you will throw down your controller over the difficulty of a situation, and no real reason to play it all the way through. It lacks passion. I can't say I had fun playing the game, but for some reason I kept playing. Maybe it was just to see if it would get better. Probably because it wasn't a terrrible game and it was hard to believe how lifeless it felt. Chase might be a rental, but certainly isn't worth the price of admission. With so many games coming this Holiday, save your $50 for a more worthy offering.

Que de notes disparates. Conflict Desert Storm aurait pu mieux faire, c'est certain. Je ne saurais vous dire s'il tiendra face à ses futurs concurrents (on verra ça plus tard, y a le temps) mais en attendant il reste, malgré ses quelques défauts, un jeu bien sympathoche, idéal pour qui veut s'initier à l'art de l'action/tactique. Il crée presque un genre avec sa visée bourrine : l'action/tactique/arcade. Un bon entraînement pour préparer l'arrivée de SOCOM. Et puis les titres du genre sont tellement rares sur console.

Un titre qui accuse malheureusement un sacré coup de vieux et qui souffre désormais d'un gameplay un peu trop limité pour tenir le joueur en haleine très longtemps. Dommage car l'on passe quand même d'agréables moments avec Speedball 2 notamment grâce à ses différents modes de jeux et ses possibilités en multijoueur.

I wouldn't call myself a dedicated fan to the sport, but I do appreciate good simulations and arcadey takes on racing. From Gran Turismo to Burnout, I often find I can't pull myself away from the TV. Even as a kid, I remember I fell in love with a game called Ivan Stewart's Super Off Road, which I'm reminded of when playing 4x4 Evo 2. It used to have a similar setup where you earn all this cash to buy yourself better parts for your big, bad 4x4. So, naturally, I was pretty excited by the sheer volume of cars and parts you could buy in 4x4 Evo 2. Setting up my vehicle was pretty entertaining, but as soon as I began racing in my career I just found the races to be generally boring. The only reason I wanted to press on was to earn more cash to upgrade my vehicle. Since the core of the game is racing, after all, and not purchasing cars and parts, I can't say I recommend investing in 4x4 Evo 2. Only the most mouth-frothingly fantatical 4x4 devotee would be rewarded by what it has to offer.

Un titre qui rend finalement un bien piètre hommage à Bruce Lee tant son gameplay se veut primaire et limité. Même la diversité des coups n'y fait rien, les deux pauvres modes de jeux sont d'un intérêt limité, en clair, à éviter.
