Only time will tell where Bioware will go with the franchise, but as a middle game this stands out as one of the best games so far this generation. It’s a good mix of shooting, story, light RPG elements and has plenty of charm and character to keep you hooked right through to the end. Highly recommended.

As we only get a game like this every four years it is easy for people to overlook it and go for different sport games like football and golf. So will Vancouver 2010 have you praying for snow so you can get on your skis?

Band Hero, for all intents and purposes, is Activision's attempt to promote their Hero franchise to the more casual market, removing the heavier rock set pieces and replacing them with squeaky clean pop songs that can be completely hit or miss given the games 'rockier' roots.

Well this is it, five reviews spanning over a couple of months and we are finally at the end of Tales of Monkey Island. It's been emotional to say the least with plot twists, laugh out loud moments and some old faces making an appearance just for old time's sake. The series has been good and been a bloody good way of getting new gamers in to this old genre.

Film merchandise - when I was young you could get action figures, t-shirts and the occasional photo album. These days, any family film release is almost guaranteed to be accompanied by a tie-in game. The latest film/game combination to add to that tally comes in the form of Planet 51; does it have what it takes to break the cycle of poor licensed titles we've seen in recent years?

Ultimately, Cameron's Avatar is a game that could've been much more. It could've had better graphics and weightier controls. It could've had a more intriguing plot choice and better missions. It's clearly a rushed game, thrown out to tie it in with the release of the film that - with a bit of time, care and attention - could've been far more entertaining than the this poor attempt.

The biggest issue with Left 4 Dead 2 is whether it should have been an expansion pack for the original rather than a stand-alone title. While this criticism certainly has its strengths, the variability, 5 new campaigns and a solid new multiplayer mode definitely outweigh the negatives. If you've never experienced the series, then this sequel provides excellent gameplay with great new additions. If you own the original, then you may be left a little disappointed with a largely similar gameplay experience. But that experience is tailor-made cooperative action in thoughtfully constructed locations with a great deal of replay value. However, it should be noted that Left 4 Dead 2 contains banjo music and if you're so cynical that that criticism seems legitimate, then it won't be for you.

Tony Hawk Ride, is it worth it? In short, no, but allow me to explain my abrupt answer. There was a lot of mixed feelings when the Ride controller was first announced, a mixture of anticipation for a new dimension in skateboarding games, and trepidation for a control system that could damage reputations of Activision, the Tony Hawk series and also the man himself who endorses the game.

All in all, it may be cynical to see Lego Rock Band as an effortless cash-in since that's pretty much what it is. Sure, adding in Lego adds some charm and customisation options to the series, but that's really all there is. There was a possibility for the fun of the Lego games series to infiltrate into this, but there was no sign of this. Sure, a rose of any other name smells as sweet - but this version lacks the content of its predecessors, whilst providing a more repetitive, if not charming, Rock Band experience. If you already have the instruments, then this is nothing more than an expensive track pack. If you don't, then previous iterations have much more going for them over this Lego-infused version. It's just a shame that this game is such a missed opportunity.

Going back to my first comparison MW2 is the little brother of the family he wants to do everything his big brother does, it’s just such a shame that some of it feels like it just isn’t living up to a good enough standard and hasn’t really moved one since the last edition we had.

Fairytale Fights: there’s so much you could say about it, but so much should be left out. Here we have a game from Playlogic Game Factory, which tasks you with taking one of four classic fairytale characters (Little Red Riding Hood, The Naked Emperor, Jack (of beanstalk fame) or Snow White and restoring them to their former glory.

The following review has been revised in accordance to the recent firearms dlc which changes the core gameplay. So, in the not so distant and quite plausible future, Mankind have been taking advantage of the Moon's natural resources, mining minerals, searching for the existence of the Clangers and hosting I'm a Lunar Celebrity Beam Me Up Scotty!

League of Legends is amazing and fun, with a lot of variety and options in characters that can be played. That being said, the community is a big deterring factor given it's a 5v5 team-based game.

Uncharted 2 is one of the best games I’ve played this generation and I definitely recommend it to anyone with even a passing interest in gaming. It’s the most fun single player experience I’ve had in a long time, and the multiplayer is going to make sure I go back to it again for some time to come.
