The game never really changes at its heart, it is after all football, the additions and changes are just the decoration that covers probably the best football management simulation of all time. Others have tried to take the crown and some almost managed it. But Sports Interactive is the daddy when it comes to this genre and with the backing of Sega won’t relinquish that crown any time soon. I am a self declared Football Manager addict and this version has done nothing to change that. It has its faults, sure, but they are easily forgiven when the rest of the game is of such quality.

Plagued with bad camera angles constantly, overused puzzles, invisible barriers, poor combat and repetitive gameplay it seems that Saw II Flesh and Blood has taken a massive step back. The previous game was a lot better than this one, it played better, had more atmosphere to it and a better story to boot. If it's scares you're looking for over Halloween, you wont find them within Saw II.

Included with the game is an interesting commentary mode, clearly inspired by Valve's speech nodes in their latest titles. It is a nice feature and offers some replay value to the title, allowing you a glimpse into the mind of the development team and the challenges they faced as a smaller developer. There really is little to fault here, aside from the visuals and Amnesia: The Dark Descent is an incredibly solid title. However, the real highlight is the exceptional atmosphere that Frictional Games have managed to create. The low retail price of £12.99 is sure to appeal to potential buyers and as such it is difficult not to recommend this game. If you can stomach the intense and genuinely frightening atmosphere then Amnesia is one of the survival horror highlights of the past decade.

We first got a glimpse of Alpha Protocol last year at GamesCom in Cologne. With a healthy mix of spy thriller, RPG and action combat; things were looking good for Obsidian and Sega. However the finished article fails to deliver the same magic we saw a year ago.

The Graphics are fantastic and the soundtrack is pumping, however the controls are little clunky but still work well once you have got to grips with them. I can honestly say this is the most fun I have had in years and for the price (Xbox 360 - 800 Microsoft Points or Playstation Network - £7.99/€9.99) it would be rude not to pick it up. The game will keep you going long after the latest stellar breathtaking game is over and done with and to be honest you cant beat a remade classic. Though I have to admit, every time I play this game, I get the odd craving to watch the volleyball scene from Top Gun!

PowderKeg is probably one of the most fun modes I have played in a long while. Once again two teams play against each other, one has two objectives points which they need to blow up using barrels of explosive that are dotted around the map for you to use. The second team must, at all costs, protect these objectives. You're probably wondering where, exactly, does this become funny? Well, much like the, Gold Bags, if you are carrying a barrel of explosives you can only walk and can no longer use any weapons... So what could go wrong with that? Well, should the barrel be hit while you're holding it, you become a walking time bomb with only approximately five seconds to drop it, or you will become roast chicken. All in all there is very little wrong with this game. Yeah so sometimes you may find that there are spawn campers picking you off before you even had a chance to get out of spawn but a few TNT's will soon sort these guys out. The main thing I would say is the lag that you can sometimes find on servers. This is because these are hosted by one of the players. You may find that at certain points of the night you may not be able to get a lag free game or even onto a server at all. Hopefully though dedicated servers will sort this out and I feel will make a huge difference to the lag free gaming we all want. For £9.99/$14.99/€14.99 you're not going to go wrong with this game. Some of the gamers I tested this with have compared this to the likes of Team Fortress 2 and while I can see why a lot of people have done this, I think that this game can stand its own with this game; the developers have done a lot of work from the Beta such as fixing bugs and more importantly listening to the communities ideas and feedback which proves that they are doing a great job on this game and I cant wait to see more.

There is no stealth in this game whatsoever, if you have ever played any other game of stealth where you can distract guards or even knock them out allowing you to continue on your way, you may be a bit disgruntled because it does not exist in this game. Any NPC that isn't an inmate, which can detect you can make you restart back from the checkpoint. Like I've said there is no way of distracting them so you just have to walk around them very slowly. Also at some points you may see security cameras which will be blocking your way, no matter, just simply knock the cameras to temporally disable them and off you go. I am pretty sure that if you did that in a real prison you would end up getting shot; repeatedly.. In the face... By someone called Gordon. So what is there to like? Well nothing really, if you really want to share the pain of this game you can always play the fighting mode in two player which will either leave you with no friends by the end of it or in a real fist fight of who can eject the disc the fastest from the games console. When its all said and done this is another reject TV game cash in that will be in the bargain bin quicker than you or me can escape from jail. If you really want some real entertainment from Prison Break I really suggest that you go and buy season one on DVD. Not only will this be more entertaining for you but it also may last longer than the game itself.

Story wise it's a great idea, a fantastic idea in fact, but the implementation of the idea has fallen foul of bad graphics, bad level design and, quite possibly, some of the worst gameplay in an FPS in the last 5 years. When you consider the leaps and bounds of games like Far cry, Doom 4 and Fallout 3 this game falls a long way short of being a must own title. Much like Marlon Brando in "On the Waterfront", this game could have been a contender, but is actually a Bum

Resonance of Fate does a lot of new to an ever-staling genre, and though Sega's timing is bad, releasing the game mere days after their unstoppable rival, Final Fantasy XIII, there is more than enough reason for not only fans of the Japanese niche-genre, but fans of RPGs in general to pick up and play. Resonance of Fate is a refreshing twist in JRPGs, with an abundance of unique additions and features and, though it's impossible to deny Final Fantasy XIII's quality, this game has traditional features enough to temper those who have complaints of Square Enix's title, while in-depth and complex enough to provide a longevity usually unheard of in gaming these days. A highly recommended title.

With everything summed up the whole experience of Might and magic is enjoyable and rewarding, with a few little issues regarding the combat i still cannot recommend this anymore than i have if you are a fan of the RPG genre and need something to suck you in and take a few days and even nights away from you. pick this up now if you are new to the genre i would suggest then you try this and i reckon you will love it. The game makes your feel and care about the characters and the combat is rewarding and challenging enough for you to get your moneys worth about the game. this game may have almost passed us by but for gods sake make sure it doesn't for you.

Some Classics never get old and Sonic is one of them. It doesn't matter how many games get released, the original Sonic will always have a special place in my heart. The graphics don't look dated, the game play is still immense and it never gets old. But I will step away from my fan boy view of Sonic long enough to see if the latest release on the DS is worth the money or not.
