As a poker player, I've tried out a variety of different poker games in my time. Some decent, some plaintively terrible, and none of them have really come close to offering a truly great poker experience. Having missed out on Poker Night at the Inventory, I'm approaching its sequel as a new and individual title. So will it be the one great poker game we've all been waiting for?

Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge is a great game and is one that fans of the series will appreciate and enjoy, but it's very unlikely anyone outside of that will be converted. All of the individual aspects of the title work fine but as an overall package, it does fall short of great due to its average visuals, lack of 'wow' moments and the scenes when the player is taken out of the action due to Ryu's tendency to do more than what is being asked of him.

Every few years a game will come along that leaves you breathless: a title so incredible that it leaves you desperately searching for how to describe it in a manner that does it justice. BioShock Infinite is such a game. In fact describing it as a "game" is unfair, it is more of an experience as it immerses you in one of the richest and most vibrant locations ever seen.

Overall the game is thoroughly entertaining, and despite all the bad press, definitely worth try. I would honestly recommend this to anyone who enjoys city simulation games, and the challenge of working as part of a strategic cog in a larger machine, whether that includes other players, or just yourself.

If you’re a fan of Dungeon Keeper and you’re hoping this is a rehash of its awesomeness then I’m afraid you will be sorely disappointed. You might enjoy this if you have a lot of free time, patience, and plenty of experience with previous RTS games, but for newcomers to the genre, this one will be biting off more than you can chew. For us, it was a bit of a let-down.

Whilst it's not a flashy, edge of your seat play, it is a lot of fun, very well made, and one of those games you can keep coming back to. Nice work 17-BIT.

Simply put, Ken's Rage 2 is an awful game. It's a title that not only bores the player but also probably does disservice to the source material. I have no idea of the quality of said material but it can't be bad enough to require a game this lazy to be based off of it, yes? Hopefully.

Prior to this being assigned to me, I had no idea what Anarchy Reigns was. After a bit of research, I discovered that it was a sequel to MadWorld where you hack-and-slash your way to victory. I remember MadWorld getting a lot of praise when it came out so was pretty eager to get my dirty little mits on this game, but after fifteen minutes of playing, I regretted that thought.

Batman: Arkham City Armored Edition is still, just over a year later, a fantastic game, with a gripping narrative and fantastic gameplay, and whilst Rocksteady’s Wii U port is technically brilliant, the integration of the latest console lacks clarity. Never once does the game suffer because of this but it’s just a shame that the developers didn’t do more to make Arkham City on the Wii U feel like it needs to exist.

It's always a little ominous when the lowest difficulty setting available in a game is 'Hard'! Don't be fooled; this isn't just a subtle tweaking of expectations by renaming a relatively easy mode - Dungeonland will make you suffer. But then Dungeonland wasn't designed to be easy; nor was it intended to be played alone.

There is a hell of a lot of game to DmC: Devil May Cry. It's a brutal and punishing beast of a game to master, with highly enjoyable combo-based combat, a well presented world and excellent cast of characters

ZombiU is a good game on paper but its execution leaves something to be desired. It's almost as if Ubisoft created a huge jigsaw with some great images on it but the pieces don't quite fit together.

Before we start, I'll come right out and say it: I have never played a Hitman game until now. It's not that the series doesn't appeal to me, I do own all the Hitman games (having picked them up in a sale recently), I just never got around to playing them before this assignment landed in my lap.

Of Orcs And Men turns our perceptions of the fantasy genre on it's head and puts the Orc in the limelight, as Bloodjaw warrior Arkail and his Goblin compatriot Styx set out to bring down the Empire of Men and end the slavery of the greenskin people.

The time has come for Formula 1 fans to get excited because it is time for the official game by Codemasters to be released. As with every F1 game we have had to wait for the back end of the season for the release due to licensing but I think that we would rather get a game late than not at all. With the previous versions being so good I have high hopes for F1 2012 so let's see how it did.

It's a lot of fun, an enjoyable romp through endless zombies, foreign countries and exciting story moments. It's these that make the game such a great one but not what it could have been. Because of this, the best way to enjoy Resident Evil 6 is to just play it for what it is, regardless of whether one agrees with the alterations or not.
