This isn't a hilariously zany chapter, and if you're used to the bizarre weirdness of TellTale's Sam & Max or Strongbad episodes, you won't find it here. That's not to say that Fright of the Bumblebees isn't weird; after all, gargantuan bees that hum "God Save the Queen" isn't normal, but it fits into the overall charm of Wallace & Gromit's world. And while there's some fun dialogue, it's more about watching Gromit's exasperated expressions as he's busy saving the day. This is a promising entry for the series, and hopefully TellTale can only go up from here.
Ci siamo divertiti molto con questo primo episodio e siamo sicuri che anche altri tra voi condivideranno la stessa esperienza. Le battute sono fresche, gli enigmi coinvolgenti e tutta l'avventura scorre via in un baleno, grazie anche al carisma di Wallace e Gromit e al cast che li accompagna. Tecnicamente siamo inoltre al di sopra degli standard sui quali si adagiano la maggior parte delle avventure grafiche. Solamente un sassolino nella scarpa ci ha punzecchiato tutto il tempo: sarà stato il sistema di controllo poco raffinato, la procedura di salvataggio priva di logica o l'audio a tratti mixato proprio male, ma un senso di trascuratezza è rimasto ad appannare l'esperienza nell'insieme. Diamo comunque credito a Telltale; mancano ancora tre episodi al calare del sipario.
