With substantial changes to how it looks and plays, PGA Tour 2K25 feels like a different game from its predecessor. The new swing mechanics, paired with the significantly improved graphics, makes for a much more realistic ambiance, even with a lethargic performance by the announcing team. The highly customizable MyCareer campaign mode shines as one of the most enjoyable parts even though it has a tacked-on personality system, occasional unnecessary connectivity issues, and of course microtransactions. PGA Tour 2K25 is still a few strokes behind EA Sports PGA Tour as the best golfing simulator around, but if it continues to improve like this with each new iteration, we may see it close that gap relatively soon.

PGA Tour 2K25 è il terzo titolo sviluppato da HB Studios in cinque anni, e i miglioramenti sono evidenti. Le nuove meccaniche di swing offrono una sfida stimolante per i veterani e rendono il gioco accessibile e divertente per i novizi. La grafica è migliorata, regalando un'atmosfera molto più realistica ed elettrizzante sui green. Da un punto di vista contenutistico c'è poco di cui lamentarsi, a parte il roster dei golfisti che rimane piuttosto limitato. Le aggiunte alle modalità MyPlayer e MyCareer sono apprezzabili, ma l'ingerenza delle microtransazioni si rivela fastidiosa. Non sarà la simulazione di golf più bella del pianeta ma PGA Tour 2K25 è sicuramente la più completa disponibile sul mercato.

Stories from Sol: The Gun-Dog is a largely triumphant tribute to last-century science fiction. Referencing everything from Gundam to Alien, expect to spend your time on the space vessel interacting with a colorful cast and delving into plotline that sets things up for subsequent follow-ups. In space, sequels are compulsory, it seems.

PGA Tour 2K25 è un gran gioco di golf che però non prova a reinventare la ruota. I suoi punti di forza sono la granularità delle opzioni, il livello di difficoltà personalizzabile, la solidità della simulazione e l'editor di percorsi che potrebbe letteralmente rendere infinita l'esperienza. Un'offerta ludica molto standard, pochi golfisti, un comparto tecnico non da urlo e qualche bug di troppo mettono un po' il freno a un'esperienza che comunque sarà in grado di appassionare gli amanti del golf.

I rolled credits on Avowed at around 47 hours, with a fair chunk of side quests still left on my map (I haven’t even reached the level cap). That’s a lot of game for your buck, especially if you’re one of the people who get it on Game Pass. It’s an absolute triumph. A gorgeous, complex,and utterly enchanting game that’ll be a welcome addition to any RPG enjoyer’s library, especially if you’re a fan of Pillars of Eternity. As for me? I’m about to start playthrough number two.

Si Avowed ne va clairement pas révolutionner le genre RPG, il se présente malgré tout comme un titre compétent de sa catégorie, dans plusieurs domaines. Son histoire passionnante dictée par nos choix s’inscrit en effet dans la droite lignée des véritables « jeux de rôle » dont Obsidian a le secret, avec une superbe direction artistique, et un gameplay aussi dynamique que satisfaisant dans son exécution. Plusieurs points peuvent cependant rebuter. On peut en effet lui reprocher des PNJ « clones » manquant cruellement de vie, un équilibrage bancal de la difficulté face à un bestiaire qui s’essouffle vite, comme l’exploration de ces fameuses Terres Vivantes certes très belles à contempler, mais redondantes à la longue. Le fait qu’il soit présent sur le Game Pass peut cela dit jouer en sa faveur, si d’aventure ce titre ne manquant certainement pas d’intérêt et de profondeur vous intrigue.

There’s an outstanding game in Sid Meier’s Civilization VII just waiting to burst free, but it’s trapped under a wet, slimy coating of bugs and a mostly-finished interface. What we have on Switch is a phenomenal game that could be one of the absolute finest in its genre, a true monolith of game design and a delight for all fans of turn-based shenanigans, but its laundry list of launch-day bugs and issues pulls it from the peak it could have reached. It’s great as it stands, but with more development time could have been utterly seminal.

Ryu ga Gotoku prend le large en 2025 pour mieux surprendre les inconditionnels de Like a Dragon avec un spin-off qui a du chien. Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii met du cœur à l’ouvrage et possède suffisamment de nouveautés pour justifier une épopée finalement assez courte. La thématique de la piraterie est l’une de ses principales forces, mais peut parfois desservir l’aventure, tant elle prend le pas sur tout le reste. Toutefois, les combats plus dynamiques que jamais et la présence enragée de Majima Goro en font une expérience à ne pas manquer pour tous ceux qui aiment la saga Yakuza et le Chien Fou de Shimano.
