u final, Rise of the Ronin n’est sans doute pas le jeu d’action-aventure au Japon que tout le monde attend, mais c’est une expérience solide et qui a plus d’un tour dans son sac. Les combats sont réussis (et s’appuient sur une richesse assez dingue), l’exploration n’est pas très organique mais reste agréable, et la Team Ninja exploite bien la période “Bakumatsu”, en particulier dans son écriture… Malgré tout, on reste sur notre faim, notamment à cause de niveaux à la Nioh qui ont du mal à nous faire vivre les enjeux à l'œuvre ! Le studio mise avant tout sur ses acquis, se prend même les pieds dans le tapis dans sa quête d’équilibre entre exigence et accessibilité. Rise of the Ronin reste, cependant, une bonne expérience.

Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile punta a diventare il migliore sparatutto disponibile su iOS e Android e si presenta al lancio con un impianto già solidissimo, tanto sul fronte del gameplay quanto su quello delle modalità e dei contenuti. Verdansk, i 120 giocatori contemporanei, le playlist multiplayer, la cross-progression e il supporto per il controller si pongono come caratteristiche entusiasmanti, sebbene al momento ci siano diversi spigoli da smussare: una sfida non da poco per Activision, ma la strada è lunga e il potenziale evidentissimo.

There are too many flaws at the heart of Pieces Interactive's Alone in the Dark reboot for a blanket recommendation, but anyone with a love for classic survival horror gameplay should — after a few post-launch patches at least — find a relatively worthwhile experience. The combat sections are awful and there's very little to actually spook you, but the puzzle-solving gameplay at the game's core shines. For that alone, it'll find just enough of an audience ready and willing to love it.

Jeu d'aventure et d'ambiance avant tout, Alone in the Dark arrive malheureusement après un Alan Wake 2 qui a redéfini les attentes du genre. Agréable à arpenter, mais un peu déjà vu, déjà joué.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 is a strange and wonderful game that seems haunted by some of yesteryear’s bugaboos. It is a retelling and reimplementation of all of those wonderful ideas from the 2012 cult-classic, including an awesome dynamic world and some of the best combat in the genre that integrates a subtle but amazingly complex physics system. On the other hand, its finicky ally AI, clunky climbing, choppy frame rate, and camera with a habit of going haywire at the worst times are all “features” I wish hadn’t been brought back for another round. Even so, there’s an action-RPG here that’s richly rewarding and incomparable to its contemporaries if you can be patient with its quirks and open to embracing its hands-off open-world and quest designs.

Forse avevamo aspettative troppo alte per Dragon's Dogma 2. Speravamo si trattasse di un GDR in grado di cancellare tutte le incognite dell'originale e di sfruttarne al meglio l'enorme potenziale, invece alcuni degli elementi più ottusi del capostipite sono rimasti in questa sorta di seguito/rifacimento, dimostrando di essere concetti seriamente desiderati dal team e non inseriti per mancanza di risorse. No, questo non è un gioco perfetto, eppure, anche con le sue mancanze, mantiene tutto il fascino del suo predecessore, rappresentando ancora una volta un'esperienza davvero unica nel genere ed evolvendone gli aspetti più peculiari. Itsuno, tutto sommato, ha fatto quel che voleva; chissà se anche stavolta toccherà i picchi desiderati con un'eventuale espansione.

Dragon's Dogma 2 coche toutes les bonnes cases pour convaincre les passionnés de RPG exigeants. Mais pour un retour en force de la franchise, les nouveaux venus pourraient bien se retrouver décontenancés. Si le manque d'accessibilité risque de rebuter plus d'un joueur débutant, les vétérans seront ravis de découvrir la direction prise par ce nouvel opus. On déplorera néanmoins quelques problèmes de caméra, ou encore une optimisation aux fraises sur PC, difficile à avaler avec un titre AAA de cette trempe. Ce second épisode va de pair avec son prédécesseur : satisfaisant mais loin d'être marquant.

Princess Peach: Showtime! è un insieme di antipasti, ognuno dei quali propone un genere diverso di videogioco (platform, avventura grafica, picchiaduro a scorrimento...), con la Principessa a fare da denominatore comune. I vari assaggi sono indubbiamente gustosi ma, anche accettando la scarsissima difficoltà, la seconda e la terza portata delle varie trasformazioni di Peach non ci hanno soddisfatto appieno. Ci aspettavamo degli accostamenti creativi dopo l'antipasto, delle variazioni sul tema o addirittura un primo che ne seguisse il gusto, e invece abbiamo avuto il bis dello stesso piatto. È un vero peccato, perché il gioco, nonostante il framerate incerto, è ben curato nella presentazione, sia visiva che sonora, ed è coraggioso nel voler proporre un contesto narrativo, come quello teatrale, completamente slegato dal Regno dei Funghi. Lo consigliamo soltanto al pubblico ideale a cui si riferisce, e cioè bambini e utenti esordienti.
