The 20 or so hours we spent completing Psychonauts 2 saw us indulging in plentiful side quests and content, simply to spend more and more time in a world we still don't feel entirely done with. There are very few games that offer an experience as good as this, with ingenious level design and heavier themes that never feel sludgy or, more importantly, preachy. Brilliant aesthetics go hand in hand with tremendous gameplay here and it's a genuine delight to say that it's all been worth the wait. It's so good, in fact, that we now want the original Psychonauts to be remade in this engine, with this fidelity, in order to finally do it justice. Psychonauts 2 is consistently creative, enormously fun to play, visually inventive and spectacular and spins a cracking yarn to boot.

Juego de notable acabado que disfrutaremos y recordaremos. Una buena compra, muy recomendable para amantes del género. Está bien cuidado a todos los niveles.

Si l'on ressent les mécaniques du platformer 3D old-school au cœur de la structure de Psychonauts 2, les retrouvailles avec Raz n'ont cependant jamais été aussi modernes et agréables. Drôle, ultra créatif, plus précis dans son gameplay qu'auparavant, Psychonauts 2 est un jeu généreux et rythmé, qui propose entre 15 et 20 heures d'une expérience particulièrement réussie. Certes, on déplorera un challenge en retrait, des boss peut-être moins fous que par le passé ou l'absence de doublages français, mais pas de quoi bouder son plaisir face à cette aventure haletante, hilarante et touchante, située dans un univers qu'il est si rafraîchissant d'explorer.

Psychonauts 2 si rivolge a tutti quei giocatori che cercavano qualcosa di fedele ai principi dei videogiochi di 15 anni fa: un platform che non prova a innovarsi, ma che propone un gameplay che evolve ma che non esce dai suoi binari. Le fasi platform sono fantastiche, quelle di combattimento un po' meno, ma il modo in cui i due gameplay si rimbalzano è calcolato al millimetro. Dove fallisce l'avanzamento tecnologico, ci pensa il design dietro che propone mondi fantastici da visitare, caratterizzazioni degne di questo nome e una costruzione del gameplay che vi spingerà a rigiocare alcuni "cervelli", così da rendere più longeva e gradevole l'esperienza.
