F1 23 es el videojuego oficial de la temporada 2023 del Campeonato Mundial de Fórmula 1 desarrollado por Codemaster y Electronic Arts. El juego ofrece los circuitos, pilotos y equipos actualizados de F1 y en una actualización posterior llegará la F2 de 2023. La gran novedad en contenido es la inclusión de los circuitos de Las Vegas y Losail (Catar). El título introduce el nuevo modo de juego de F1 World, un centro con desafíos para un jugador y para el modo multijugador, para crear la experiencia de F1 definitiva. Además, el modo historia narrativo Braking Point está de vuelta tras la aparición en F1 21, con más drama y nuevos personajes. En PC, el videojuego tiene modo VR.

Accessibilità è la parola d’ordine di F1 23. Codemasters non si è limitata al compitino e ha risistemato il modello di guida per renderlo meno imprevedibile e, soprattutto, più adatto a chi non gareggia con volante e pedaliera. Il ritorno della modalità Braking Point e il rinnovato hub F1 World aggiungono ancor più sostanza a un'offerta contenutistica di per sé ottima. Il motore grafico/fisico comincia a mostrare un po’ i segni del tempo ma è ancora valido. Gli alti e bassi dell’IA purtroppo fanno ancora parte dell’esperienza, ma in compenso il comparto multiplayer è stato ripensato e dovrebbe accontentare un po' tutti i giocatori. Questa incarnazione in definitiva è buona: in futuro però ci aspettiamo che Codemasters faccia compiere dei passi in avanti più netti alla serie.

F1 23 is a far heartier package than F1 22, with 26 tracks, the enjoyable next chapter of the Braking Point story mode that began in F1 2021, and – for players who love to recline back into the couch and race – the best gamepad handling in the series, ever. The racing-focused secondary career mode F1 World is also likely to be a step in the right direction after last year’s F1 Life for some, although it's equally probable its arcade-inspired, loot-based upgrade system will be divisive amongst traditionalists.

F1 23 makes welcome changes and additions to the series with the most beneficial being the racing. My Team, Career and Two-Player Career have surface updates, but is largely the same. The new icons in the Champions Edition aren’t much to write home about outside of Nigel Mansell. I don’t think many would clamor to have Pastor Maldonado as a teammate. F1 World is a surprising addition that adds a whole new element to the series while Braking Point 2 is a good follow up if you’re in the mood for some drama. The team did include the Supercars again, but it’s buried in F1 World and the cars are exactly the same. There are still no classic cars or track options, which was a great addition but has been phased out in recent years. Also, a lack of a PSVR2 version when PC has VR is disappointing. The best element still comes with the actual updates to the racing physics and how the car behaves. F1 23 is a solid improvement in some regards over F1 22, but one can question if it’s enough.

F1 23 is a solidly packed racing experience that improves upon its predecessor in almost every way. With a little something for everyone, on top of an immersive and impressive experience on PS5, it's a worthwhile addition to the libraries of enthusiasts and casuals alike. We loved how tailormade the game could become, whether that was a heavily assisted racing experience, or a brutally immersive one. The campaign doesn’t always hit the mark, and F1 World while expansive isn’t exactly revolutionary, but at the very least, it’s nice to see Formula 1 get the same care and attention that many other popular sports games have been receiving for years.

Non sarà ricordato come uno dei titoli migliori della serie ma F1 23 ha molte frecce al suo arco. Dal modello di guida fino alle bandiere rosse, Codemasters si è impegnata per rendere più accessibile e divertente la sua simulazione senza snaturarne troppo l'anima. Apprezzabile il ritorno della modalità Braking Point mentre l'aggiunta del'hub F1 World è la soluzione ideale per chi è alla ricerca di una sfida veloce e ama gareggiare online. Grafica, IA e modalità Carriera stanno invecchiando male e necessitano di una bella rinfrescata.

La nouvelle référence pour la saga de Codemasters ? F1 23 via le souffle d'EA Sports sort le meilleur cru en termes de contenu pour la licence, surtout grâce à l'ajout du mode F1 World. Même si l'on n'est pas vraiment bien guidé vers ce dernier, il comblera de nombreuses heures de votre temps avec ses nombreux défis et quêtes bien renouvelés. Un manque désormais comblé pour la saga de Formule 1, qui tourne encore en rond dans les animations et son rendu technique. L'opus 2023 est une belle porte d'entrée au monde des monoplaces, avec en prime la suite de Point de Rupture, le scénario à la sauce Drive to Survive assez intéressant.

A défaut de véritablement lui donner un second souffle, F1 23 est un bon jeu de course permettant de remettre la licence F1 dans le sens de la marche. Le mode scénarisé Point de Rupture 2 se laisse apprécier jusqu’au bout, les améliorations de gameplay fonctionnent bien, voire très bien, et les autres ajouts et ajustements proposés par Codemasters et EA apportent un vrai petit plus à l’expérience dans l’ensemble. Cependant, ce n’est pas parfait ni excellent non plus, la faute notamment à un hub F1 World dont l’intérêt et la façon dont il a été implémenté nous laisse encore très dubitatif.
