It’s not hard to see why the Ratchet & Clank games were such a hit during the PS2’s life. Their focus on combat and creative weaponry was a great gameplay foundation, but it was all the additional touches that helped make them special. The gadgets, puzzles, platforming, mini-games, exotic locations, art direction and sense of humour. Oh, and let’s not forget the bolts. Those magical, jangly bolts.

If you are craving for some classic Ratchet and Clank action, I can't recommend this enough. It has a lot of interesting weapons, gadgets, humorous writing and all that you have come to know and love from Ratchet and Clank games over the years.

Sia insomma lo abbiate giocato dieci anni fa, sia per la prima volta facciate la conoscenza di uno dei titoli più rappresentativi del vecchio monolite nero Sony, Ratchet & Clank Trilogy è ancora una bella esperienza di gioco, divertente, varia e anche molto longeva, senza dubbio consigliata nonostante i molti anni dalla sua uscita. Tre episodi che non sono un qualcosa di unico, visto però che la saga è arrivata sino ai giorni nostri in ottima forma senza discostarsi troppo dalle origini, la domanda è sempre la solita quindi. Quanto è forte in voi la nostalgia per delle piccole perle del passato?

The Ratchet & Clank Trilogy se destine aux joueurs qui souhaitent débuter la série aujourd'hui mais qui ne disposent pas de PS2. S'attardant sur les trois principaux volets de la précédente génération de machines, cette compilation va droit à l'essentiel et jouit d'un lifting HD des plus réussis. On regrette simplement l'absence de bonus en plus des trophées et de la compatibilité 3D stéréoscopique.
