Modern Warfare 2 sigue intacto en este Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaing Remastered de Beenox. Empezar con la banda sonora de Hans Zimmer y que los recuerdos te asalten (¡hasta se mantiene la clásica canción de los menús!) hace que realmente merezca la pena hacerse con esta remasterización, por mucho que no poseea ni el multijugador ni las operaciones especiales. La campaña y la historia de Modern Warfare 2 tienen el suficiente peso e importancia como para que pueda ser un reclamo independiente para los usuarios que ya pudieron disfrutarla en su momento, como para aquellos que quieran ver cómo eran las campañas en los Call of Duty originales, que tan bien lo hicieron todo y que se están trayendo de vuelta; ya sean solo sus mapas multijugador, su campaña o en su totalidad. En resumen: directo a los feels. Solo hemos echado de menos un tráiler de la versión remasterizada con “Till I Collpase” de fondo.

It hits because it's a story that stands proudly atop of its superb writing, renowned characters, and kick-ass set pieces while being aggressively injected with arresting, cutting-edge visuals.

Playing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Remastered is like jumping back in time, and it's wonderful. The gunplay, action, and setpieces of Modern Warfare 2 all hold up incredibly well in the modern day, though the controversial content feels more harrowing than ever. For nostalgia, and to see a piece of media from a very different time, Modern Warfare 2 Remastered is definitely worth the price of entry. A shockingly good Call of Duty campaign.

Buono Modern Warfare 2: Campaign Remastered regala un fantastico salto nel 2009 che lenisce la nostalgia di quei tempi, che segnano l'apice della serie di Call of Duty con una delle campagne più belle mai realizzate. Rivedere storici personaggi come Soap MacTavish e Ghost in forma smagliante o rivivere scene indimenticabili fa provare una strana sensazione di "rinascita" per i vecchi fan, difficile da spiegare a chi non ha mai avuto modo di provarlo. Mancano le amate Operazioni Speciali che avrebbero confezionato il pacco perfetto, ma una cosa è certa: che lo giochiate per la prima volta o meno, la remaster di Modern Warfare 2 non potrà che farvi rimanere estasiati, garantito. PRO - Campagna invecchiata davvero bene... - Ottimo lavoro di rimasterizzazione a livello tecnico - Prezzo accessibile CONTRO - ... ma resta breve e poco rigiocabile - Mancano le Operazioni Speciali

A ben undici anni dall’uscita del capitolo originale, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Remastered torna a proporre una delle campagne narrative più intense e coinvolgenti nella storia della serie. Un racconto che traduce in gameplay tutto l’orrore della guerra, per trascinare il pubblico in un labirinto di ambiguità morale ed azione adrenalinica. Le 4-5 ore necessarie a raggiungere i titoli di coda scorrono sullo schermo in un tripudio di frenesia balistica e momenti di grande sconcerto, che dimostrano come la visione guerresca di Infinity Ward sia quantomai attuale e potente. Questo col contributo di un ottimo lavoro di rimasterizzazione, che dà vita a un’esperienza ancora oggi assolutamente godibile. Il tutto a un prezzo che, tutto considerato, sembra in linea con i valori produttivi di un’offerta di ottima fattura, confezionata per avvicinarsi agli standard dell’attuale generazione. Sebbene l’assenza di una modalità multiplayer dedicata possa far storcere il naso, non possiamo quindi fare a meno di consigliarvi l’acquisto della riedizione di quello che è, senza dubbio, uno dei migliori capitoli della saga di Call of Duty.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered è più di una semplice operazione nostalgia: è la ferma volontà di riproporre una delle campagne migliori dell'intera serie avvicinandola quanto più possibile agli standard attuali. Sebbene il risultato raggiunto da Beenox sia di poco inferiore a quello di Raven Software, ci troviamo di fronte a un lavoro di rimasterizzazione indubbiamente ottimo, forte di sensibili migliorie al comparto grafico e sonoro, che a fronte di una motivata assenza del comparto multigiocatore riesce a regalare ore di frenesia e divertimento ricordandoci come la guerra non sia mai giusta: nemmeno se a vincerla sono i "buoni".

Con Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered, la compagnia riesuma, rivitalizza e rende giustizia a quello che fu il miglior capitolo mai realizzato, invitandoci ad assaporare la nuova veste grafica rivivendo un grande classico degli sparatutto, o se così vogliamo azzardare, un grande cult del genere. Un amore mai affievolito per gli eterni appassionati della saga e una scoperta a chi si è affacciato alla serie solo negli ultimi anni, una rievocazione di eventi che riecheggiano nei ricordi di chi, nel 2009, non vedeva l’ora di avviare il nuovo capitolo sulla propria console, quando ancora Call of Duty riusciva a regalare grandi soddisfazioni.

Thank goodness for all of its memorable, Michael Bay-style blockbuster moments, because in 2020 Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is competing for our attention with its own very impressive reboot. In that light, the generic shooting-gallery gameplay of Modern Warfare 2’s campaign feels dated – after so many games we’re onto the magician’s trick now. The new Modern Warfare has largely pushed the series past this for the better. So while this remaster is still a fun ride that looks impressively current, it’s lost a lot of its punch. Some of that is due to the advances of time, but it’s mostly because it’s been bested by...itself.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered doesn't include the multiplayer and spec ops components. Once you can get over that hump, you’ll realize that what’s left is a respectable remaster of a solid campaign experience from 2009. Everything is intact, with Beenox bringing the entire campaign experience to the current-generation, warts and all. It’s a campaign from a bygone area when enemies would spawn infinitely, the main objective was to follow a teammate and Michael Bay-esque set pieces were all the rage. Despite that, Modern Warfare 2’s bombastic campaign remains as fun to play as it was in 2009 thanks to excellent gameplay and well-designed arenas. An impressive visual overhaul rounds out the remaster experience, bringing the game more in line with titles from this generation. It’s short with little to do after the credits roll, but the lower price and the quality of the campaign experience help alleviate some of that concern. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered may not be the full experience, but it solidly delivers an updated take on one of the better campaigns in the series.

Call of Duty : Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered cible les fans fiévreux à l'idée de remettre le couvert dans des conditions optimales et les quelques retardataires cherchant à parfaire leur culture vidéoludique. L'excellent travail de remasterisation garantit des retrouvailles chaleureuses qui ne peuvent malheureusement occulter bien longtemps l'absence de certains indispensables.
