Avec Dreams, la créativité atteint des sommets prodigieux. Non, le tout-venant ne réussira pas à créer sa pépite indé sans passer des heures de recherche et de production, mais la philosophie jusqu'au-boutiste du programme ne peut être que félicitée. Media Molecule livre le jeu de création de jeux ultime, quand bien même il nécessiterait un investissement personnel dépassant l'entendement. Il est juste regrettable que l'exploration des projets produits par d'autres auteurs soit régulièrement bloquée : nous n'aurions pas été contre un véritable cercle vertueux entre créateurs. Avec la promesse de Sony d'un soutien sur plusieurs années et le support de la VR à venir, Dreams a toutes les clés en main pour s'imposer durablement chez les artistes motivés. De quoi rester sur un petit nuage.

Dreams is a creator-focused set of tools more so than a video game. If you've always wanted to get into game making, collaborate with the like-minded community, and weren't sure where to start, this is a great option. But if you're primarily after some quality gameplay, and not just bite-sized imitations, it's best to look elsewhere.
