Elden Ring non è un gioco perfetto, esattamente come nessun altro videogioco. Eppure trovo impossibile non premiare l'ultima opera di From Software ed Hidetaka Miyazaki con un punteggio prossimo all'eccellenza. Elden Ring è un souls-like innovativo, ampio, denso, coinvolgente ed accessibile come mai prima d'ora. Se avete sempre titubato nell'immergervi nel genere, sicuramente potrete trovare un ottimo punto di partenza in questa nuova immensa perla del mercato videoludico.

Elden Ring is the culmination of all the Souls entries up to this point, creating a near perfect gameplay experience filled to the brim with incredible boss fights, gorgeous graphics, and an insanely large world to explore. A variety of new ideas, including crafting and the addition of the spirit horse Torrent, help bring a new level of immersion to the proceedings while simultaneously helping Elden Ring feel like a unique entry in the Souls genre. With gameplay tailored for players who want to experience the world solo as well as those who wish to play nearly the entire game in co-op, Elden Ring is a masterclass in design. Minor gripes about a couple of boss fights and the sheer density of the world to explore leaving many areas potentially undiscovered aside, Elden Ring is a nearly flawless experience which old and new fans of the Souls series will enjoy.

Per gli amanti dei soulslike a firma From Software, Elden Ring è semplicemente un sogno che diventa realtà. Si tratta di un passo in avanti netto rispetto ai lavori precedenti, che pone le basi per un'altra serie di sicuro successo che pur non evolvendo le meccaniche di gioco (già solidissime), ne amplia a dismisura la scala, offrendo al contempo un nuovo modello evolutivo per il genere. Al netto di qualche riciclo piuttosto evidente, Elden Ring risulta maestoso, coinvolgente e molto più dirompente di quanto ci aspettassimo. From Software consolida il proprio trono ed è pronta a regnare ancora per molti anni.
